Lake Escape's Barefoot Bungalow

Welcome to Lake Escape’s Barefoot Bungalow! This fully renovated lakefront home on Lake Norman is the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty and relaxation of the lake while having all of the comfort and conveniences of a fully stocked home. You won’t have to choose between hanging out in the living room, playing board games in the family room, competing in the gameroom, relaxing on the porch, lazing away on the beach, floating in the lake or jumping on your boat.. Because you can do them all!

The open concept great room combines the living room, dining area and kitchen. Stream on the 65” TV while whipping up your favorite meals in the fully stocked kitchen. It is fully equipped with quality pots, pans, flatware, dishes, serving ware, utensils and small appliances. You’ll also find a Keurig with all of the coffee and accouterments you’ll need. (A standard coffee pot is also provided.)

Straight out the back sliders is the deck and porch. Lots of seating for everyone to relax and decompress. Choose from rockers, dining area or lounge seats while your grill master cooks up some dinner on the propane grill.

This main level is where you’ll find all four bedrooms. They all feature Queen beds with high end mattresses and bedding. All of the bedrooms feature ceiling fans, lamps, Amazon echo alarm clocks, and power points on the night tables.

The Master is en suite with a stall shower and vanity. The hall bathroom services the 3 other bedrooms and provides a large stall shower as well. Both bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and all of the fluffy towels you could need.

Downstairs is another family room with a 65” TV and all of the board games you could want. This leads out to the patio where you can play cornhole, sit on the hanging chairs or enjoy a meal at the dining table. Sit by the firepit with our complimentary firewood or walk down the path to the beach and the private dock.

Here you’ll find all of the lake and lawn toys! There are 4 kayaks, 2 SUPs and life jackets all included! The toy box includes Can Jam, Lawn Darts and an assortment of balls and frisbees.

But wait.. There’s more!! Don’t miss the gameroom in the detached garage. The game room entertains with pop-a-shot, 2 arcade machines, ping pong, foosball and a great Marshall bluetooth speaker to pipe in your own favorite music. A memorable time at the lake awaits you!

* Rental Agreement MUST be completed and signed within 36 hours of booking.
* Security deposit of $750 will be reserved 3 days prior to arrival (see House Rules below).
* Maximum Overnight Occupancy for Barefoot Bungalow is 8 guests.
* Maximum Daytime Occupancy for Barefoot Bungalow is 12 guests.
* All Lake Escape homes are dog-friendly and allow up to 3 dogs ($150 per pet fee applies) Cats are not permitted.
* Unlimited, Complimentary firewood is provided.
* Complimentary propane is provided for use with the outdoor grill.
* Complimentary kayaks, standup paddleboards and lifevests are provided.
* All of our homes feature private docks. Please check with us to confirm depth at specific homes as lake levels change seasonally.
