We loved this house for our family vacation! Having the game room separate from the main house was a big plus so the night owls weren’t disturbing the early birds. The house also came stocked with everything you could want on the lake. Everyone enjoyed the vacation and we hope to book our next one here !

Great location
Wonderful Family Reunion. Place is as described. Only nits were the volleyball sand had been taken over by hornets so unable to use but there are many other areas. Also, the kitchen layout is hard to use with 20 people, really only 2 people could be working in kitchen at a time. This was partially because of how many different families we had staying. Lots of rooms so could get quiet time if you needed it. It was a perfect choice for our group.

Wonderful location. Great dock for all water based activities. The view is incredible. There are a few house features that could use a bit of updating, however, all in all, the house is well maintained. The host, Zee, was very attentive. Our family had a wonderful week on the lake.

Family Vacation
Twelve family members, ages 15 to 78 spent 5 nights over the Easter holiday. Everyone had the very best time. There were multiple areas inside and out to gather or get away. We rented the pontoon boat and jet ski, which were so fun. We took advantage of the many water toys, including the kayaks. The views were amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!

Fantastic place for family Christmas gathering!
The property has an amazing location on Lake Norman with water on 3 sides! The grounds are well kept, and it even has a volleyball court & a basketball hoop (balls are provided). Since we were there in December, we did not get to use the water equipment, but there was just about every water recreation item you could imagine, from pontoon boat and jet ski to kayaks and paddle boards. Life jackets of various sizes and other water toys. The game room above the garage is equipped with a wide variety of activities for all ages. The house itself is comfortable with plenty of sleeping space. We had 16 adults from 20 - 79 years of age and all had a wonderful time. Even with that many adults we had one bed and two sofa beds that we did not use! The hot tub was a big hit and there are plenty of games and books available to keep everyone entertained. This was the second time that we rented this house for our family to gather at Christmas and we will do it again. One special think I should note is that the host was there to greet us when we arrived and helped us get acquainted with the house. I had wanted to be able to live stream our home church service from my computer onto one of the tv's and he took the extra time to help me set that up. Additionally, he was quite responsive to any additional inquiries that we had. Zee is a SUPER HOST!

Beautiful Home For Large Family Gathering
This home was absolutely perfect for my large family (19 people) to gather together over Christmas. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and space. The game room was a huge hit for the kids (ages 6-14). The kayaks and hot tub were enjoyed by everyone during the day and the firepit was perfect for late night smores. The house was great for everyone being able to sit together in one space or break off in small groups. We all hope to return in years to come!

Great Vacation!
We had 8 adults and 6 kids, engaging from 9 months to 7 years old, and had a blast! House is great and game room is a blast. Zee was fantastic and accommodated an early check in as well as a late check out.
The area around Lake Norman seems to be an older community, and there weren’t really many kid friendly things close by. We had to drive 30-45 minutes for activities, decent playgrounds, restaurants/breweries, but thankfully we had a ton of entertainment at the house between the game room, volleyball court, fire pit, lake, basketball, etc.
The kitchen could use some new appliances and the water pressure wasn’t the best (nobody could shower at the same time), but these are minor and didn’t affect our stay.
Thanks Zee for a great trip!

Host great but disappointed in this property
From the pictures this property looked amazing and we thought it would be the perfect spot for our extended family of 20+ to get together for a long weekend. When we arrived, we quickly realized the house had not had much upkeep or cleaning. The house is older and needs some updating. There were many bugs and insects found in the house, the grill was covered in mold and there was garbage found in the dresser drawers. The showers and sinks did not have much water pressure and the showers were without drain plugs and did not drain well so when you showered you ended up standing in several inches of waters. The dryer was broken and therefore we were not able to do laundry. Overall the property was not what we had expected. The host did come to clean the grill which we appreciated but when we tried to use it we realized not all the burners worked. Overall the property was not what we were hoping for and we were disappointed with our stay.

Overall house was good. Rained a couple days / had leaks in living room and doorway from living room to sunroom. Dryer quit working Thursday. Grass needed mowed when we got there and didn’t get mowed for the week. Zee was there to give us a tour at check in- very helpful but a little slow to respond to texts during stay.

Fabulous Family Reunion
We stayed at this property in 2017 for our son's wedding & everyone kept saying how much fun we had & must do again. So we finally did over 4th of July week 2024. House interior updated with new, improved kitchen, some furniture, blackstone grill, new outdoor lounger & chairs and tons more water toys, life jackets & sand toys! We had few issues with house, but Zee was very responsive. Family already talking about when to do our next family reunion!

Family gathering at summer peak
Great space and location for large family providing an array of summer lake activities for all ages. Main house and game room was clean, but some exterior spaces had not been touched in a while (cob webs, dirty). Generally good communication with property manager though when a/c unit went out in Game room area for 2.5 days in 90+ degree heat there was no response to request for cost adjustment which was disappointing when paying peak season prices and loss of bedroom and key feature. Rental of Jet Ski and Boat at location while convenient proved to be a hassle at times. Overall our family enjoyed the time at the property and would generally recommend for others, but personally would not rent at location again given our communication experience at the end.

Excellent Stay on Lake Norman
We had 16 men in our group and we had a great time. The house worked very well for our group and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The firepit provided a nice evening early in our stay and we had no issues during our stay. Zee was very accommodating when we had requests or questions and I'd highly recommend the property for larger groups staying in the area. Thanks a bunch for a great visit.

Here are the details.
Upon receiving the email about the property, we found accessing it fairly straightforward. However, we immediately encountered a major issue: the property was not handicapped accessible, which was crucial for my spouse and family.
Despite being promised a guided tour upon arrival, no one was present to give us the tour, so we toured ourselves.
My goal for relaxation was fishing, but the unfinished pier disappointed me greatly. I had to balance on a precarious 1x6 to access it. The owner suggested fishing from the bridge instead, as the pontoon was not ideal. However, I was informed that the construction crew for the pier wouldn't return until after our departure, which was frustrating and should have been disclosed beforehand. Because of the location of the fishing, I lost about $50.00 worth of tackle that was getting stuck in rocks that had no business being in the lake. They were pavers.
Additionally, we were instructed to clean the towels, which was fine, but leaving the linens on the bed for "inspection" made me uncomfortable. I don't want to sleep on potentially unclean sheets used by previous occupants. That is disgusting. To make it more difficult, the dryer took 3-4 hours to dry clothing/towels.
Moreover, we were informed about a septic system issue and instructed not to flush tissue down the toilet. This should have been disclosed earlier and would have been a deal breaker. It made everyone uncomfortable, including all of our guests, and many children.
