Small hotel, apparently family run. They were friendly and helpful. We got there after dark and left early, so can't comment on the surroundings. The room(s) we had were pretty close to the road, so there was some road noise. If there are lakeside cabins like those shown on the website, we didn't see them (which, again, doesn't mean they're not there). The rooms were clean and in good repair, clearly adapted from an existing structure (house?), which made for some oddities in the layout. But we would stay there again.

Thanks for your review. We are a family run motel. We don't consider ourselves your typical motel as we have 2-3 bedroom multiple bath suites that are as big as a house. We have a main lodge and 8 individual cabins. A new lake is in the works right close to the cabins but we do have two other large lakes within walking distance as well as 1200 acres of public timber and trails surrounding our place.
