Just back from a week and we all had a fantastic time there! We went to relax and spend time as a family as well as experience a slice of Thailand. It lived up to it all! The staff were fantastic and made our stay even better. If you're an Aussie and want to do shopping, have a stopover on Bangkok before or after as there isn't much around! But if you want to relax and see some beautiful places this is a place for you !
Want to say big thanks to the team, Anne..the guest relationship manager. She had served my family and myself with her full heart of sincerity. This is my 2nd trip and i’m going to miss this place. Nice ambience, positive vibes of the overall resort experience
Having stayed the very first time at an Anantara hotel, the stay was all in all okay but there wasn't a great or lasting experience ( which you would expect from a five star property). Though I have to praise the guest experience team, and specifically Ms Anne Rachelle for their really good job. Would I come back?, I am not so sure...
Visited after a terrible storm in late October 2016. Beach was ravaged and closed being unsafe due to strewn palm tress. Although cleared while there.. a bit of delay and not anything to do with the resort. Resort itself was ok, although a bit tired in places - wooden decks were rotting and potentially a hazard. Room itself was great - clean, spacious and inviting - loved the clean shower! Staff are impressive, trying to remember all guests and greet by name. Nothing is too much of a bother for them. Loved the adult only pool! Food at the Italian restaurant just magical with the backdrop of the view. Loved all the spa treatments and also managed an excursion to the mangroves and spotted some elusive wildlife - a bonus! Oh, how could I gorge - the fresh baked goods : pastries, bread and cronuts absolutely divine.
Nice but nothing else in the neighberhoud. The room was spacious and I loved the open bathroom. You can wath TV from your bath if you leave the glass doors open. Also very good water pression in the shower. Breakfastbuffet was enormous: thai dishes, pancakes, yoghurts, donuts, smoothies, different kind of bread,... There is happy hour at noon at the swimming pool and at the evening at the bar under the italian restaurant. At the italian restaurant you have a very nice view over the sea at the evening. Diner with table cloth is something different then the local thai restaurants which I loved. You also can eat buffet for 700 bath per person (children at half price). Food and drinks are expensive. At the swimming pool you can also order food and drinks which is nice to have a fast snack. 140 bath small singha, 80 bath softdrink, 60 bath small bottle water, 280 bath club sandwich, 380 bath pizza. Pakmeng resort is about 25 minutes walking. It's very cheap to eat: 80 bath for pad thai, 20 bath for coke can, 150 bath for big singha,... Walking further (I think 50 minutes from the resort) you have a small village with restaurants and shops.
excellent trip staff are very friendly and efficient ,the food was very good, we went on an all inclusive food and drink only problem is only one choice of beer but that was ok over all we loved the place
We just returned from Thailand, the Land of Smiles. Anantara Sikao is a fine example with smiling, efficient and friendly staff. Staff members at this resort will go the extra mile to ensure a flawless vacation for their guests. Sincere thanks to a most pro-active & friendly Guest Relations Manager, Anne & her assistant Nee, we were pampered by all your thoughtful gestures that made our 2 weeks stay a memorable one. A special mention to Front Office Manager, Apple & Pui, check in and check out, invoice, etc went smoothly. Our room was ready which was much appreciated after a 15hrs flight/transfer. Do not miss the Excursions for spotting dugongs, turtles and dolphins with Mark, a professional with a passion for the ecosystem surrounding the resort/region. Whether you are visiting the fishing village, the basket weavers, island hopping or to the quaint Kantang railway "Love station", it was fun & informative. We highly recommend the signature restaurant Acqua, where we had all our dinners. Bravo to the chefs M & Aom for the scrumptious meals, few of our favorites : Risotto tom yam goong (tiger prawns) , melanzane alla parmigiana, fresh white snapper, seared ribeye, not forgetting the soft warm chocolate cake served with vanilla ice cream!!! Thank you Rat & Rampeung for their friendly service, likewise to Phon & her team at the Beach house which serves a variety of snacks, Thai & international dishes. Good spread of buffet breakfast was a delight. Pool boy/barman Rhoon & Tim were always attentive to the needs of guests by the Infinity pool. Housekeeping staff kept our room spotless. Special thanks to Sao, for the creative towels decorations. Our Deluxe sea view room looks out to the scenic natural rock outcrops, enjoyed some amazing sunsets from our balcony. Well done Adrien & Kai for motivating your staff to give their best with a Smile always!
Beautiful Resort in a quiet part of Thailand. The food was amazing. Pools were lovely with beautiful surrounds. Unfortunately the beach had been washed away by storms, but usually a very shallow beach, not really great for swimming. Rooms were well appointed ... Animal towels on arrival, with other special touches. Friendly staff. A great place for time out.
The guest relations team member Nee - has ensured a level of personalised vacation that is unparalleled and is hard to match - making the stay at Si Kao so deeply memorable and wonderfully amazing 😊👍 !!!!
Our family visited in April/May and enjoyed an all inclusive package. Our children’s biggest highlight was the wonderful Dugong kids club on offer. They wanted to be there everyday. We booked tours that were personalised for our family and even our 3 year old was able to enjoy an snorkeling adventure due to our wonderful guide Noy (apologies if incorrect spelling!). Food was good and room was good as well. The only slight difficulty we had at times were some staff were not very good with English but they always got another person to assist us. Each day guest services checked up on our family and chatted with our children!
