What could you say about a Taj Property!!! Fantastic. Hospitality at its best. Superb property in middle of Chandigarh. Smooth check in. Courteous staff and people ready to help. Can you expect the Darban while checking out to ask you “ Sir stay badiya tha na.. sab sahi raha na”. Wow I haven’t heard this anywhere else and i have stayed in many properties.Spacious rooms and absolutely clean. Had a tummy full breakfast. I think variety can increase a bit but it was yummy. I would love to visit you again people. Keep up the good work. Invite me soon😊😊.
For me, the pool establishes the first of my three point comfort index - bedroom and food being the other key points of measure The pool here (admittedly we are getting into winter) is over 20m long and very well maintained. If you are exercise-prone, their gym is well appointed too Lovely rooms, great food and super service, always welcomes me, again and again! Well done and thanks
The hotel was definitely luxury. All the staff, amenities provided, and the location were all great. On our arrival we were offered a welcome drink and check-in was quick. Our room was spacious and we were given free bottled water each day too. The breakfast was really good, but the only drawback was breakfast was set to open at 7am and when we arrived at 7:30am most things (hot fresh cooked food) was still not setup or open. Other than than we had a really good stay and would definitely be staying here again whilst in Chandigarh.
In the centre of Chandigarh this place is a great secluded and relaxed hotel. A lot of good staff who make your stay extremely comfortable. Facilities are great with a spa, swimming pool and gym. Bar open til midnight and restaurant food is very nice and reasonably priced for standard and quality of surroundings (300-400 for a decent sized dish.
This is a good hotel to stay in Chandigarh especially if you are on a business trip. It is centrally located and offers good hospitality. The rooms have a old world charm yet attractive. It can be further improved by providing some modern amenities in the room. They have a Chinese and an Indian restaurant. I relished food in the Indian restaurant called Dera. Good peshawari cuisine. their buffet and the dining staff is well mannered. The banquet and other staff is cooperative and have excellent sense of hospitality. Thank you!
I stayed in Taj Chandigarh for business second time after a gap of about 4 years. The location of this property is excellent and right in the centre of Chandigarh, on the intersection of Madhya Marg and Jan Marg, bang opposite Rose Garden. Sector 17 shopping is just 10 minutes walk away. I was upgraded to Club room on 5th floor by the hotel which was offering beautiful view of the city. Room was large and very well kept. Food in the restaurant is excellent with lot of variety. Staff is well mannered and well trained. This hotel is highly recommended to business as well as leisure traveller.
Stayed at the Taj hotel in Chandigarh during my previous visit in December 2016. I created my profile recently so I thought I must review them. And congratulate them on the service they provide. Rooms are spacious and overlooks the Sector 17 shops. Bar has a lot of choice for international spirits and local beverages as well.
Stayed a night with the family . First the good things . The Indian restaurant Dera is beautiful with a well crafted menu and a team that enhances the dining experience a couple of notches about your expectation . However the hotel doesn't live up to what you would expect from a Taj property . A mediocre front office welcome , very ordinary food at the lunch buffet at the coffee shop . A special mention for Amarjeet their duty manager who acted very swiftly to take control and make things happen .
I think it’s not part of the taj hotel group. To start off with the breakfast buffet had a poor selection. The omelette station was manned by a poor quality chef. Being in north India they preferred serving poor tasting South Indian option. The bed springs had given way. My back was completely cramped. Wouldn’t be booking myself again at the taj Chandigarh for sure.
Centrally located with a well decorated lobby. I stayed there for two nights and was specially treated on my birthday . The staffs were very cooperative and food was wonderful. I must mention that chef used to take personal care particularly of my kids.
