I stayed in this hotel with my girlfriend, and we were impressed from the interiors of this hotel. We checked in at 10.00 am so we had to pay half day more because the normal timing of the hotel was at 02.00 pm. The check in was fast but with some small misbehavior from the staff, because one girl standing in the back of the reception and playing candy crush on her phone jumped in the front when she heard we are doing the early check in and she said (2-3 times )in very unfriendly and arrogant tone that this is chargeable so we have to pay more. The room was nice, large and very well cleaned. The marble from the shower was little bit destroyed and the tap were not working good. The food and the restaurant was good, with a big appreciate to Chef Taj. The pool was not so clean with some birds inside, this was very unhygienic. The elevators are like a sauna, but this is nice because you don't have to pay for a Sauna. I talked about this problems with the duty manager Vipen and Rohini and they promised me that all this problems will be solved.
Staff are so courteous and had great experience with their hospitality. Their Chef Mr Janarthanan personally comes to you and ask for your preferences and get something specially made for you. Their team at the Reception area received me well and I was pleasantly surprised that they had all my preferences in their records which was shared by me in last visit and arranged everything as per that. Great experience
We stayed here for two days. Check in was smooth and an executive brought us to our room and explained the services offered. As we chose executive room bf and dinner was complimentary. Master chef Mr. Raj Mohammad sha took personal attention to our food preferences and made sure our preferred food served both during breakfast and dinner. As we are leaving before lunchtime Mr sha gave us lunch pack to take away. During breakfast he offered a candle lit cake to thank us for being their guest. Overall it's a pleasant experience .
We picked this five star hotel based on the reviews and were definitely not disappointed. A hotel and staff that strive to provide excellence in service. Each member of staff that we came across was an absolute pleasure to interact with. Some names were Mr Manoj the head concierge, Chef Taj, Ishant, Prahlad. I can't remember all the names but the lovely doorman who greeted with a smile every time and all the other staff we came across, Thankyou. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Just a minor area for improvement, breakfast can be a little disorganised if the hotel is particularly busy at a weekend but I am sure the hotel can sort this one out. Overall an excellent stay and will come back next year.
Will recommend everyone to stay in marriot(chandigarh), Assit Manager Mr dipen Ji have really personally paid attention to our needs n made us feel special. Also there Chief Chef Mohd Taj served us best food.Just they need to improve there executive lounge service. In short, Dont dare to miss a stay in marriot if u going to chandgarh😀. Lol.
My wife and I decided to take a weekend away from the madness of Delhi and drive up to Chandigarh. We booked the JWM Chandigarh as it gave us a lovely double room with executive lounge access for a very attractive price. The check-in was quick and the room was as promised. Marriott pillows and mattress are customisable and we enjoyed the room thoroughly. The food was nice - starting from a Thai green curry in room service to the lavish breakfast buffets. Staff, by and large, were very impeccably dressed and behaved. The executive chef Mohd Taj Sha paid personal attention to all guests and tried to make the mornings 'extra special'! On the other hand, the lounge was always under-staffed/ under-serviced inspite of it being a busy weekend. The coffee-machine conked off on the weekend and everything broke down. We were also aghast with wall-papering of the hotel corridors happening at 10 AM on a Sunday morning! Our TV then stopped working at 10 AM the morning of our departure and the technicians seemed happy at being told we were checking out.. Sadly, in spite of all the "wow" moments, there were just too many downers.. All in all, a rather forgettable stay!
stayed there for 2 nights at biz trip, typical and good 4 or 5 star hotel, safe with security, clean, big rooms, WIFI, good location in city cant remember all details but hard to make something wrong when staying there, best hotel in town
Reached there around 1400hrs and check in and out took 5 min.. Reception and welcome hostess very friendly and warm. Luggage arrived quickly. Was in the hotel for a day only so didn't had much time to use the facitilies. Its very popular with coperate guests so lobby area is always packed and no place to sit. Its a good marriott property.. WIFI was free due to Marriott member. Food is good. Breakfast spread was very good (mix of western n indian) with nice view of the city. Close to all the Elate mall. Nothing to complain about. Surely will recommend this hotel for guests visiting Chandigarh.

Really nice experience. Amazing staff and really great food. Clean rooms and very nice aroma all over the hotel. The really nice thing is how the staff greets you all the time. Enjoyed my stay. In short the best place to stay when in chandigarh.
