A tired hotel

The hotel is very tired in need of some renovation particularly on the outside which is very shabby and does not create a good first impression. There were dropped packets of tea around near our room. Also disappointed the restaurant was closed as we had intended to eat there. Surely we could have been forewarned.

An overnight stop

An overnight stay during our cycle trip. Very simple with no frills. More suited for travellers in vehicles as not in town. Luckily there was restaurant fir an evening meal. Not a holiday destination.

Though you can see the hotel as you leave the motorway it is not easy to find as it is behind a Mercure hotel and is not signed off the roundabout.
