Schon die Tiefgarage war abschreckend, ohne Licht zum Aufzug und Wegweiser. Kontakt mit Agentur nur auf Französisch und persönlich war meistens niemand da. Bahnstrecke verläuft direkt am Gebäude, plus Durchgangsstrasse. Apartment winzig, Couch für Teenager zum Schlafen ungeeignet. Schlafzimmer do beengt, dass mein Mann Platzangst hatte. Wir sind früher abgereist.

Bel appartement avec très belle vue sur le Mont Blanc

Quelques points négatifs au sujet de la propreté des lieux à l'arrivée et le wifi qui fait des siennes... mais le service est là pour compenser. Dommage que le train passe à 6h40 chaque matin... un peu bruyant ! Mais très beau et bon séjour dans l'ensemble !

You couldn't ask for much more

Our apartment was more than we expected for the price. The complex was well maintained and so close to all the amenities in the village. We couldn't believe our luck when saw inside and then to pull back the curtains and be staring straight down the valley at Mont Blanc just put the icing on the cake. We had the use of a car but still took advantage of the train, why wouldn't you, with the free pass they give you and the station just across the road. Argentiere is lovely, the local bakeries have a lot of great food and the bar a couple of doors up was very hospitable. It is also a great place to base yourself if you have a car with the Alps on your doorstep and Chamonix and the Swiss border just a short drive away. The memory that will live with us forever is pulling back the curtains every morning and seeing Mont Blanc bathed in sunshine and later watching the colours on the mountain change gradually in the evening as the sun set. Cons: bed has wicked sag in middle, possibly 20 yeats old, internet slow.

Cons: horrible bed and internet. Fir a 9 day stay we had 3 towels, 2 rolls of tp, 1 kitchen garbage and one 1/2 litter bathroom garbage bag. I had a cold, ugly. We were to have a ski locker snd no key to it, so every day skiis to our balcony. Got the wvil eye for taking them up to our apartment from some French people. During 9 day stay no housekeeping for fresh towrls or linens. I would never stay here again. Pros: close to bus stop, great space, we used the kitchen a lot. We had 1 butter knife, no good cutting knives, but great coffee maker. The bed linens were great, but nine days is beyond my limit. The towels were small and thin. This was our first VRBO experience, guess we did not ask the right questions.
