Lots of issues with this rental. First the positives. Apartment is large, comfortable, well stocked, and great views up to Brévant lift. Management is kind and communicative, with plenty of pre-arrival information.Now the challenges. Arrival is a hassle; rental car has to safely pull to the side of a narrow, busy uphill street, leave it, walk to the building, up to 4th floor, access key box, retrieve (unmarked) clicker, return to car, then drive on property. 10 minutes, same on departure. Keypad at the front bollard is not for renters.Plenty of parking guaranteed, but not true. In four nights we never found one open space around the large property. Parked in the open area near the front portico, on a hill, with no snow removal services. Our car got stuck on ice and had to be towed out. No warning from the building or management not to park there, cost us a ton of money.Property is close to town center, but bad for skiing. 4 steep uphill blocks to Brévant base in boots with equipment. Downhill walk to shuttles is icy and not cleared by property or town. Very busy, very noisy local apartment building, shares access with gendarmerie for even more traffic. Strange, wide, creepy dark hallways. Ski storage only accessible through side door. Apartment door not labeled #76 as directed. Furniture being built for two days in the hallway. Weird, unpleasant, inconvenient.Out of 5 stars: apartment 4 , location 3, property 2. Would not rent again, especially for the price.

This apartment was absolutely perfect inside. We loved it. And the history of the building made it even cooler. Centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Also, the kitchen was fully functional with all the equipment and utensils needed for cooking actual meals. Very helpful for the budget. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly.
