Well located apartment in peaceful part of town, yet still close to all amenities
Lovely apartment in peaceful area of Chamonix on the edge of the forest, but only a short walk to town and to the ski slopes. Apartment was well equipped, very spacious and had a ski locker and parking outside. Only issue was the hot water which seemed to run out by 1800 in spite of following the instructions so a hot shower after being out all day was not always possible.
Initial booking was easy, but then got passed on through subsidiary companies who asked for a deposit and charged us for sheets, towels and cleaning- this was fine, but my preference is to go through one agent and have sheets and towels included.
Overall, a very enjoyable week and a great apartment, that I would return to.
