Extra Charge and Information Please note that access to this second-floor apartment is via a steep, narrow spiral staircase located inside the building. This may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues or those who have difficulty climbing stairs. The exterior stairs are open-plan and lead to the building\'s entrance.
Location The apartment is in the heart of the village of Argentière, close to the forest, but just a short walk from all the amenities and 3 minutes from the cable car for Les Grands Montets skiing area. The nearby slopes are ideal for intermediate and experienced skiers. Some of the higher slopes offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May. For younger children, the famous Panda Club ski school is only a 6 minute walk.
All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep. During the summer months, the choice of activities is endless; stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing and horse riding.
The village is home to some excellent restaurants and bars to suit all budgets. For self-catering, Argentière’s weekly market is on Sunday mornings (in season) for the freshest local produce. Chamonix’s market, Place du Mont Blanc (12 minute drive), takes place every Saturday morning throughout the year.
Geneva airport is a 1.5 hour drive from the apartment. Argentière railway station for the Mont-Blanc-Express is only a 6 minute walk away.
