The door to the room creaked and did not close easily. It was unclear whether it actually locked.The mirror was cracked. The shower fittings were broken. The toilet seat was broken and only the short flush worked. The shower soap dispenser lid was missing. One of the lights just glowed. Having said all that, the bed was good, the beakfast good and the staff very pleasant.

Friendly, clean stopover with our dog

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Well located for take aways or restaurants on a couple of minutes drive away. Room was clean, warm and tidy if a touch compact. Breakfast was good value. Great stopover with dog and places to let it off only across the road,

Dont bother if reception is closed

Could not use the automated booking machine so had to find another hotel. Not our issue as had used the same chain the night before with no problems. Then got charged after the trip. Very poor.

Road trip

The area was good with plenty of places to eat, it was like an industrial park but with lots of choice. The hotel reception couldn’t find my booking for quite a while, and he got a little annoyed. The room was very small but had the basics , just what you need for a nights stay. The bed was more of a large single than a double, and was quite hard, the bathroom was also very small, not a lot of room to move around in, but it was clean and functional.

Good value for the money

It was the first time we had used this chain of hotels pleasantly surprised very nice layout in the room, very clean and plenty of room in the washing facilities. We will use this hotel again and try others in the group.

Get a different hotel!

We arrived and got an earful about how much they hate Expedia. It got worse from there. Would have rather slept in the rental car. Shower floods into room floor and didn't feel safe. Rooms were adequate but employees ruined the experience.

Cheap but not cheerful

Good points: bed comfortable and very quiet (stayed on a Sunday night) Passable: info. on restaurants nearby was accurate, but reluctantly given Very poor: Shower brackets broken; toilet cistern falling apart; bathroom pod leaked under wall into room; toilet door would not shut - handle had been incorrectly fitted. Generally, the place had a folorn air, and it wasn't so cheap that the shabby, broken items could in anyway be excused.

very basic hotel, our room for three people very small - shower/toilet area - very cramped - but we got what we paid for, so OK. Hotel on industrial estate so not much going on - very quiet which we wanted but trying to find somewhere to eat was difficult - we did manage to find a restaurant about a 10 minute walk which was OK.
