Along the Loire River, between Angers and Nantes, stay on Europe's largest river island, 14 km long. This former Loire-side farmhouse has been tastefully restored with a contemporary and pleasant decor and carefully selected quality materials. Comfort and tranquility are guaranteed.

This 65 m² vacation home features a 30 m² living area: a small lounge with a television, a fitted and equipped kitchen, a dining area, and direct access to the terrace. On either side of the living area are the two 11 m² bedrooms, each with two 90 x 200 cm beds. The beds can be joined together or separately according to your needs. On the same level, you'll also find the bathroom on one side and the separate toilet on the other.

Outside, the beautiful 20 m² terrace on stilts offers a view of the surrounding vegetation. A privileged vantage point for observing nature. The birds are singing... it feels like a great vacation spot! Available: garden furniture, relaxing chairs, gas barbecue. Bikes of various sizes are available on site (2 adults, 2 teenagers, 2 children). Remember to bring your helmets!

[THINGS TO SEE / DO] The Loire à Vélo route passes in front of the cottage. The "Au Bout de L'île" open-air café restaurant is a 20-minute bike ride away, Le Café Bondu on the banks of the Loire is a 15-minute walk away, and Chalonnes-sur-Loire and all its shops are a 4-minute drive away. Other ideas: Château de Serrant, a cruise on the Loire, and numerous wineries. For family outings: the Kangaroo Garden in La Possonnière, Terra Botanica, and Aqua Vita in Angers. Stop on another island worth a visit: Béhuard Island. Angers is 30 minutes away, with the Château du Roi René, the old town, Saint Maurice Cathedral, the fine arts center, and the Jean Lurçat Museum. Stroll through the village of Bouchemaine at the confluence of the Maine and Loire rivers. Bike trails on the island and along the Loire à Vélo route to Nantes or Angers. Nantes, Saumur, and Doué-la-Fontaine are 1 hour from the cottage.

Fiberglass internet connection. Ideal for both cyclists and motorcyclists: shelters for safe parking (slope at the entrance to the shed). There are 5 steps between the front square and the front door. Private parking in front of the cottage, separated by the road. Electric shutters in the bedrooms and living room. Towels and end-of-stay cleaning included in the rate. Bed linens are available at an additional cost (€10 per bed).
