This property is poorly maintained and unfortunately, I don’t think I would be back unless major renovations take place. The food was well done, and we do appreciate the complementary anniversary dinner, however, the preparation time is way too long. Furniture in the room needs to be deep cleaned. While I appreciate the upgrade of our room, the bottom of the bed frame looked as though there was mildew all over and I had to put a sheet to block the site of it. I believe with some renovations, cleaning etc, this can be a really nice spot

I was amazed at how beautifully designed this hotel was the rooms were gorgeous. Near the rooms are armed beautiful dark skinned men standing in front of a booth all night lol really makes you feel protected😜 the food and drinks were great as well as the views from the private beach

The atmosphere is nice but the property needs some upgrades. The room did not have blankets neither a hair dryer. There was no kettle, we requested one but was told there was none available. No water, tea or coffee in the room. Most of the staff was very nice and welcoming.

My family and I totally enjoyed our stay at Chaquacabana. The lovely scenery together with the kind and helpful staff made our stay exceptional. Dinner and breakfast served here were both tasty and well presented. Worth it supporting our own right here in Trindad.

The room was not clean. There were some sort of metal shavings on the ground. The door handle was broken. Furniture unclean. Wifi did not work a bit. No cleaners came in between the days to change towels, toilet paper, etc. The staff was friendly for the most part but the infrastructure is terrible

The front reception staff could be more welcoming, more informative. Upon arrival washroom was not working in lobby area, no wifi, sewer problems. On our second day the sewer stunk..on our way to the pool. Pool area, everything dirty, lounge chairs, pool water cold, hot tub area not working. Place looks run down, nothing to do in the resort. We booked a room with 2 double bed, went out..when we came back our bed was wet because the AC water dipped and soaked the mattress. We were move and put into a penthouse suite. Happy for that. Breakfast and staff were great, very friendly. (Jamal our server was great) Our rooms had no kettle, no coffee, no tea as advertised. I would give it 2 out of 5. Stayed May 2026.
