A great hotel for anyone looking to be right on the beach and have access to top notch cycling facilities. Multiple rides go out daily with great guides. Food is excellent and abundant. They really think of everything to cater to riders including an after ride, lunch buffet when you need it most. Rooms are simple, but very clean and seaview rooms have an unobstructed view of the Adriatic. Staff are very friendly and work hard to make sure every need is take of. Rental bikes are Pinarello's and the bike room is as nice as you will find anywhere with locks for each bike and a great work station and cleaning area
i was here for 6 nights and it was like i was at my own home.verry clean rooms, friendly staff and the breakfast was sublimo and also in the evening dinner was verry good, every day a whole range of nice disches.nice swimmingpool who was every day kept clean by paolo the poolboy.Sea was easy to reach behind the pool.I LOVED IT and we surly come back.Only minus point was coz we leave in the afternoon i ask to keep the room a littel longer but the feez was to high, for 2 hours longer 50 euro was way to much.
I visited the Lungomare for 5 days for a bike riding holiday. This is a family run hotel and the 3 generations of the family who operate the hotel do a fantastic job. Their staff are friendly and helpful. The building is comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The food offered is of a very high standard, typical of the region and served buffet style. They have beach access, a pool and a wellness centre with spa, sauna and steam room. All of which are of a high standard. I had an excellent experience and would highly recommend this hotel for any type of holiday. I am looking forward to returning.
This family knows how to welcome her guests. Super restaurant from breakfast till diner, very good service all the way, warm and clean swimming pool with enough furniture, the sea in the backyard, a lot of activities for each age, nice rooms.
Capable and well-informed ride leader for daily cycling groups plus ample food lovingly prepared, not to mention the attentive hosting by Sylvia and Lorenzo. Highly recommend anyone interested in cycling the Romagna coast booking Lungomare!
Spent a few days at Lungomare Hotel for road cycling. The hotel, its facilities, food and services are great. Cycling facilities are awesome, including rentals. Bike guides and choice of routes and levels is perfect. And most importantly, the owners and managers, the Pasolini family, make you feel like you are part of the family. Highly recommended!!
Great visit, excellent food We were there for cycling and had an amazing time. Super staff ...clean room with great views. Excellent bikes... to use ..we rented the Pinarelos for all our cycling tours by day
Room prices was extraordinary high so our expextations were as well. The photo’s on the website do not represent reality. Our room was clean but old. Staff was friendly but none of our requests were possible. Late checkout was declined (we needed just one extra hour), we were not allowed to use the pool after checkout (also for just one hour) bc it would be busy with new guests (who were not there as it turned out). Pool towels were not included and were €2,- per towel per day ( maybe not much but considering the high roomprices, hotel with pool and 4* classification this should be included as service to the guests). We did like the breakfast, friendly kidsstaff on the beach who actively came to ask if our kids wanted to participate in an activity right before it started. However, we will never visit lungomare again.
I am not sure how they can claim to be a 4* Hotel - their website says 'Cesenatico's only 4 star hotel' but the first tell tale sign of this little fib sits on the rug at the entrance of the hotel which says 3* - which is a fair assessment. Our so called family room was no bigger than the other rooms, just with an extra bed in it. We had to push our beds together to just to have space to walk around. This isn't ideal with a 4 year old. We used our room very little as the space was a big problem. The decor in the rooms hasn't been touched since the 80's, so it seemed - pink, out of date and not in the best condition - bits hanging off the walls, a bathroom window that was broken and just an all round disappointment. The food selection during the day around the pool was very limited which was a shame but not the end of the world but the buffet breakfast wasn't great at all and again, more like a 3* offering. A wide selection but very basic and not the greatest standard. There are some lovely aspects of the hotel, like the pool and direct access to the beach and it is worth mentioning some of the staff but this doesn't compensate for the price we were charged for a hotel that simply didn't live up to the expectations.
I am very happy. The hotel is run by a very nice family and they cater to road cyclists. They rent the best bikes in the world (I am on a Pinarello F10). They have great cycling guides. For that matter, all of the staff are really nice. My room is ok although the AC is barely adequate. Bed is good and the room is very clean. Breakfast is great, other meals are mainly a way to restore calories after riding. You can do better in town. There are many good day trips from this location and as for cycling there are many great places and terrains to ride. If you drive here make sure to request parking in advance. In short, for the reason I came it is perfect. My special thanks to Filipo, one of the cycling guides. Would I stay here if not for the cycling? Tough call but maybe if a nice beach immediately adjacent was important. Since it is not something I care about I probably wouldn't spend the night in this town.
