Hotel staff was great. Hotel pools were heated & nice. Fire pit was going Saturday night outside. The room was perfect with a gas fire place & full kitchen. Underground parking was cool. The spring house was perfect.
We found ourselves without a room late afternoon Wednesday October 9. (I know-super poor planning) Called and left a message. They called back!!! We stayed in a lovely room with an amazing view! First time on a Murphy bed and it was super comfortable for my 6’ 4” husband and myself. Couch was comfortable, balcony with view of slopes in full color-amazing! The man and woman who checked us in gave excellent dinner recommendations in town. (their restaurant and bar were closed during our stay) Next morning, Matt recommended a great breakfast spot and places in the area to explore. We checked out the next day and there was a confusion on rate for the second night. I wasn’t sure if it was mine or their mistake. Matt and I think his supervisor, a very nice female checked into the issue. They needed to check with someone not available at the time but assured me they would continue to investigate. I was emailed a receipt that reflected a positive outcome for us. So here is the deal, even if the room wasn’t sparkling clean, didn’t have super nice bathroom products, full kitchen, plenty of space AND a balcony with a gorgeous view(it had all this in aces) the time, effort and friendliness the staff showed us will have us recommending this place and coming back.
Stayed here while doing an antiques show in Ludlow. The condo we had was comfortable and clean. The Tavern is better than expected. We were happy that we could come back to the condo after work, go down to the Tavern and have drinks and eats without having to leave. That's not really the best way to visit a town....I'd rather be full of energy, see the town and try different restaurants, but the show knocked us out.
The staff are phenomenal, they always do everything in their limited regulated power to accommodate every individual guest and their needs. I've heard some of the things that some people spit at these poor people and I must say it's never very necessary, Yes things could be avoidable at times but they're still lovely people, Ive been coming here for a while and I've seen employees come and go but they are always very awesome. I'm really just here to say please be nice to the wonderful people who come in day after day just so you can have the stay of a lifetime.
Stayed for five days. Comfortable, clean, safe room. Liked the underground parking. Close to the center of town. Pretty view of Okemo mountain. Enjoyed hiking and golf at Okemo Golf Course. Spectacular course.
We were there on business for several days. Good, could be great with a few improvements. This hotel had the best beds I have ever slept on. Very firm, supportive mattress, we got great sleep! The full kitchen was great and functional. The in room coffee was a pleasant surprise and quite wonderful. On the downside: the sofa was very uncomfortable to sit on. The seat cushions crush down easily, leaving one sitting an the thin frame. The upholstered chairs were just not comfortable. The main hotel lobby is a pleasant oasis. Very comfortable furniture and a Wall Street Journal for sale to read. Great bar with super service. My only criticism of the business buffet food was the bacon was undercooked every morning. Nobody wants a large buffet tray of rubbery, fatty, undercooked bacon. People like bacon crisp. The coffee in the restaurant was very good. The bathrooms were very nice with enough room and nice tile. The only thing I couldn't understand was the cramped fiberglass bathtub shower. Why was this left out of the renovations? Mold and mildew in the caulking also. Overall, with a few upgrades to the baths and the furniture, this place could rock. By the way: VERY PLEASANT EMPLOYEES THROUGHOUT !!! This makes a world of difference.
My husband, sons, and I stayed at the Jackson Gore Inn for the first time for a wedding two weeks ago. To be truthful we usually dont spend $170 per night. But its worth every dime!. As the wedding approached we had several issues with getting ready for the event.. My husbands suit was wrinkled and dirty from the 8 hour car ride and we could not find anyone to dry clean. We went and saw the Front Desk Agent (Mark or Mike) He was able to get us into a dry cleaner after hours in Rutland. We were on time for the event. The previous night we wanted tickets to go to Paramount Theatre and the event was sold out.. He was able to make a call and get us last minute tickets! Not sure how he did it.. but still got us the last minute tickets.. Finally on the day of the wedding we were having issues with our car.. he was able to help us get AAA in about 45 minutes.! The room was in a+ condition with beautiful views. Thank you. Delores and Brian Jennings

Room - We stayed at Jackson Gore couple years ago and were in the main building - the room was nice and updated. However, this time we were placed in the Adams House, which is quite outdated. There is 1 ice machine (3rd floor) and 2 laundry rooms in the building. Location - Jackson Gore is just a few minutes drive from downtown Ludlow. There are many restaurants in the city as well as grocery store for those staying longer. Entertainment - This is probably the best part of staying at this resort. The resort has both indoor/outdoor swimming pools, tennis court (summer)/ice rink (winter), arcade, and Adventure Zone. This would be great for families with kids or those who are more active. Parking - There are indoor and outdoor parking available. There are also several charging stations on the property. For Adams House, the charging station is in the Adams South garage - 1 Tesla charger and 1 J1772 charger. Service - The staffs we encountered were all very nice and friendly, especially the Front Desk staffs. They do make you feel very welcomed. Overall, I would recommend Jackson Gore Inn. Adams House does need an upgrade in the rooms and building amenities.
We were disappointed with this place again. We were here in 2014 with the bike rally and back this July. I can only think that there were so many people for them to handle such a big crowd. Our rooms were okay, the king bed was nice, but the housekeeping wasn't very good. When they came by and asked if we wanted towels replaced and trashed emptied, we said yes. When we got back from riding, they did replace some towels, did not empty trash, and the used towels were still in the bath tub. I asked for an ice bucket, but was told they didn't have any and the staff was very busy. This place is very big and the front desk staff very friendly and courteous. High marks for the front desk seeing they got swamped with people!
