We spend one night at the hotel and it was a really bad night with very little sleep. From the description and the pictures we expected a picturesque and peaceful hotel surrounded by lush green plants. What we got was a room facing a busy road and behind that a railway line backed by a church with a strong bell. On our bed we found earplugs - what kind of relaxation is that? The receptionist told us that the last train would stop at 22.45h which wasn't true because further trains passed through much later. The room was rather old and the car park really difficult to maneuver in. The few good things about this place were very friendly waiters and waitresses at the restaurant, a delicious breakfast buffet and large koi ponds in the centre of the restaurant.
The staffs are very very friendly. The room is nice and big. But the refrigerator is a little loud. And the internet is very slow. A variety of food in breakfast, but you need to ask for refill if it's empty (I guess they're too busy). Overall it's a good hotel, would definitely stay there next time.
The hotel is located some 25 min drive away from lake titisee and has a decent lobby with colorful fish swimming. I stay here for one night and would recommend this hotel only as a one night stay. The rooms are just ok types, b'fast is just so-so. The parking is a bit squeezed- if ur driving a bigger car ( like I was) then it's near impossible to get to the another floor as the turning is quite cramped. The best part of the hotel was the pretty jewelry in the show case quote for sale. I got some real good jewelry from the hotel.
The hotel is located straight at a railway and on one of the main and busy streets of the town. No garden at all. Breakfast very good, nice small wellness centre with a jacuzzi bath, fitness centre and a sauna -we were there completely alone, without any staff. Rooms with very soft mattress, certainly not 4 star equipped. We had a lovely body massage and entry into the Bad Dürnheim Solemar Thermen included in package, both very good.
The location and service is OK for business visits but not if you want to enjoy the Swarzwald as a tourist. Adjacent to a busy railroad, far away from attractions in de area. And the roooms at the front are extremely noisy, so noisy that the hotel even provides you with earbuds.
The hotel rooms are a little dated, however they are currently being renovated which shows that the management are aware of this. The staff are friendly and willing to assist when required and do so professionally. The breakfast is varied and of good quality. The car park requires some work done but is usable.
Location is great. Close to Titisee and Feldberg. Breakfast was pretty good....with eggs bacon and fresh rolls and breads....as well as cold cuts. Rooms are spacious. However there is no water kettle which is pretty standard in modern hotels. Bathrobes are available only upon request at the reception. Most disappointing was the misleading idea of an indoor pool which was highlighted as a hotel amenity on their hotel website. This was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. But I later found out they don't have one. Only thing available was an indoor whirlpool/ jacuzzi. Quite disappointing. Overall it was an average pleasant stat. I would most likely book a different hotel if I come back to this area.
Stayed here fo a night on a business trip. The rooms are really nice, staff is very helpful. As it was winter, the room was pretty cold when I entered it, but the heating worked well and after dinner temperature was ok. Breakfast is really nice. They have a free parking directly nearby, however it's pretty narrow if you have a big car.
I came last summer with my family (2015) on our trip along the Danube. The hotel is nice and the place is really peaceful. However, the best thing was the staff in the reception, extremely nice, friendly and helpful!!
