Spend a summer swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, and barbecuing in the sunshine when you make your Cape Cod home base at this house in Barnstable. You'll be just up the road from a small neighborhood beach on Wequaquet Lake, with an assortment of ocean beaches easily reached by car or by bike.

In this spot just south of Route 6, you'll come home from the beach each afternoon to be greeted by central AC and an airy, uncluttered living space that's full of natural light. You can grab a snack from the fully equipped kitchen, flip on the flatscreen cable TV in the living room, and find a cup holder for your cold drink within the L-shaped sofa. Through two sets of sliding glass doors is an expansive deck with a gas grill, a shaded patio table, and a lovely view of the surrounding trees and the yard down below.

There's a washer/dryer to refresh your swimsuits and towels each night, as well as free WiFi to help you plan the next day's adventures. When it's time to turn in, you'll find a primary bedroom suite on the main level, two more bedrooms and a hallway bathroom upstairs, and a fourth, separate bedroom on the lower floor with its own bathroom and sitting area.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
