Wine House

Wine House is an elegantly styled apartment located in one of the most photographed street of the whole historical centre of Cefalù: Via Caracciolo.

Split among two levels, Wine House has an entrance on the ground floor leading to a wide living room / kitchen open space, where you can find a few special furnishing items like jars, a real oak barrel, an ancient grape press and some magnum bottle, representing the production cycle of wine. On the same floor there are also a double sofa bed and a bathroom with shower.
Walking through the stairs you can reach the upper level composed by a double bedroom with balcony, another bedroom with bunk beds and a second bathroom with shower.

Please be aware that the Municipality of Cefalù requires a mandatory tourist tax of 2 euro/person per night, starting from 13 years old, for a maximum of 5 nights (in case of longer reservations the remaining nights will not be charged)

They sent a person to collect the cleaning fees and towel fee. He knocked on the door, didn't welcome us or tell us his name until I asked. He came into the house and threateningly asked us for the 88 euros. we paid but told him the tv doesn't work. he looked at it and basically told us it was broken and said maintenance would have to look at it but they never came. the place was super dirty - the floors looked like they hadn't been washed in ages. the shower head was on a hose configuration but wouldn't stay on the wall so it fell and had to be manually held up. the washing machine didn't work. They were supposed to be there on a Friday at 3pm but basically didn't show up and told us they would be there Saturday at 10am to check us in but we didn't want to wait that long since we had booked things so we asked them to come at 9 am which they did. The towels that they provided for 10 euros are a joke. Its basically one big towel. the pros are that its right downtown as described and really a wonderful location.

Amazing famous location centrally located

The apartment is on a very steep slope which is photographed constantly by influencers. We didnt know we were that famous! Bed was comfy . Bathroom and washing machine all good too.We had no WiFi while we were there even though Sergio had someone out to see us within the hour which was a shame but these things happen. It did not spoil the trip. If you want to work then its a problem. It is fantastic to walk out and be in the middle of the town only a short walk from Parking at Parking Dafne( excellent) which is 25 euros per day but easy to access.

Outstanding location

An outstanding location in the middle of the Old Town on one of the most photographed stairways in Cefalu. Literally hundreds of restaurants within a very short walk. Sergio around the corner in the office is extremely helpful.

Memorable Location

A great location in the heart of the historic Old Town. Sergio couldn't have been more helpful, including delivering a few missing essentials (toilet rolls & mugs bigger than a thimble!). Very reasonably priced & its handy that Sergio's office is just around the corner.
