The estate features four distinct dwellings with a total of seven bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms, accommodating up to 20 overnight guests. The grounds include a 6-acre private lake, a stocked trout pond, private hiking trails, Lady Falls, open lawns, fire pits, and the rustic Sassy Goose Pavilion—creating a complete, self-contained setting for both celebration and relaxation.

**The Lodge**
A spacious three-bedroom home, each with an ensuite bath and sweeping lake views. Includes a full kitchen, dining room, cozy living room with a stone fireplace, a downstairs half-bath, and a relaxing deck overlooking the water.

**The Cottage**
A charming two-bedroom home with ensuite baths, full kitchen, generous living and dining space, gas-log fireplace, and a sun porch with lake views.

**The Cabins (2)**
**The Laurel Cabin** – One-bedroom log cabin with screened porch, efficiency kitchen, shared terrace, and charcoal grill.
**The Rainbow Trout Cabin** – One-bedroom log cabin with efficiency kitchen, shared terrace and grill, plus a private balcony overlooking the trout pond.

## Event Use Fee (Separate from Lodging)

Applies to all celebrations and gatherings of 21–55 guests.

## Vendors & Planning

Outside vendors are welcome. Renters are responsible for all planning, setup, staffing, and cleanup. A preferred local vendor list is available upon request. Vendor insurance or COIs may be required.

## Facilities & Infrastructure

* **Pavilion:** Rustic, covered gathering space for dining, bar service, and receptions
* **Restrooms:** In-cabin facilities; portable restrooms may be required for larger events
* **Power & Lighting:** Standard service suitable for small-scale events; coordinate additional needs with vendors

## Parking & Transportation (Required)

* On-site parking is limited to overnight guests and approved vendors
* Carpooling or a shuttle is required for additional event guests
* Limited parking near entrance only
* Property road is one-lane and not suitable for frequent guest traffic

## Event Hours & Policies

* Music and amplification must end by 10:00 PM (quiet hours thereafter)
* Setup and breakdown must be included in your timeline
* Standard check-in and check-out applies for overnight lodging

### Restrictions & Safety

* No nails, staples, tape, or adhesives on structures
* All décor must be removed after the event
* Alcohol permitted in accordance with North Carolina ABC regulations
* Fire pits allowed with active supervision
* Swimming and boating at guests’ own risk; minors must be supervised
* Leave No Trace policy: pack in / pack out

## Weather & Contingency Planning

Emerald Lake is primarily an outdoor venue. A backup plan is strongly recommended, including tents, heaters, fans, sidewalls, and flooring panels. Coordinate rain and inclement-weather logistics with vendors in advance.
