Summit Circle Hotel is clean and comfortable and is close to all kinds of services in downtown Cebu City. The best part of the location is there is a small mall at the bottom of the Hotel with good Airline booking, Cebu Pacific is in the mall and Philippine Airlines Ticketing office is a two block walk from the hotel.
The hotel was good. Ambiance was nice and CR was nice too. It is spacious and is in the center. They serve breakfast too :) But our lobby smelled like cigarettes tho. But if you want to be near the city and has a mall below, Summit Circle is a good place to stay.
It is not so easy to find the entrance and the lift only takes you to reception. You have to use another lift to get to your room. Checking in was problem-free and the room was smallish but more than big enough for one occupant. There was almost no information in the room so I did not know I was supposed to switch on the fridge and had to call the housekeeper to find out. To turn on the TV you need to be a member of Mensa or a TV engineer as a tiny switch was hidden under the monitor. The A/C was almost impossible to turn on and off as the plastic indicator was fingernail breaking if you didn't have a screwdriver or similar to move it. I couldn't get hot water in the shower and there was no skin cream. In addition I missed a water cooker with free coffee and tea at the room charges they took. The bed was comfortable and the buffet breakfast was excellent with top service!! This was the best feature of this hotel! If you don't need a location at Robinson shopping mall there are far better hotels at similar prices nearer Ayala centre.
We had our seminar here in Summit Circle and we were booked in a 3 bed room. Room was quiet nice. Wifi is available. Bathroom is clean with complete with disposable comb and Qtips. We had free breakfast buffet along with the reservation. Non-smoking rooms and you have to go down in the parking area if you want to smoke. Hotel has a pool area and gym. The hotel also is connected to Robinsons Fuente. Taxi is always available in the area. It costs around 100php or below from seaport and 200php approx going to airport depending the traffic. Had a good stay in this hotel and it would be great if we were booked here again in our next seminar.
My stay in Summit Circle Cebu was very affordable and worth it. The people are friendly and accommodating. Airconditiong didn’t work well for the first two nights but on subsequent nights it was cooling great. Tiled room which made it look cheap. The lavatory faucet looks tarnished due to wear and tear but works fine but unsightly. Breakfast food were very ordinary but affordable. The lobby is functional. Front office were all efficient and very attentive. Hotel car service also blundered on my first booking. However, made up on the second. The duty manager was so accommodating and helpful.
Nice Hotel. Good location. Located above a shopping mall. Access to many restaurants and fast food. Staff are nice. Rooms are clean and very business like. Has a fridge but they don’t stock it like many other hotels. Apart from bars there isn’t that much to do. I went to Kawasan Falls which was 2.5 hour drive away. Reception couldn’t help with booking this so I was left to make my own arrangements. No info on excursions etc either!
My family and i stayed here for new years eve nd it has a great city view and overlooking,.it has great city lights and you can defenitely see the firework and the pool is nice and big but no pool for kids though
Summit Circle Cebu is located above Robinsons Mall, its on the 4th floor making it convenient for it is near to everything else. The hotel was quite old but has a huge lobby. Rooms are big too but inconsistent. I stayed there 3 times for 3 consecutive weeks, on the 8th, 10th & 11th floor, thus I was able to occupy rooms with a sea view & a city view. The rooms with a city view made me very difficult to sleep because of the noise coming form the street. The staff were just ok, not so friendly but not bad at all, very different from other hotels I used to stay in Cebu. The rooms were comfortable enough but there are times that I got a bathrobe & slippers but some time I did not. Same as the bathroom, toiletries are complete except for the towels. Sometimes they gave me hand towels, some time they didn't. Rooms are inclusive with buffet breakfast with enough choices. I also took dinner here & servings were quite huge, good for 2 persons. However, it's either too salty or too sweet. Basically, it was a clean hotel in the heart of the city.
This is my first time travelling out of Luzon for work. And I traveled alone, so imagine the torture for someone like me who watched too many CI docu series. Haha! :D Travel from the airport: I rely too much on Grab and Waze so I was so happy that they have a P300 off grab promo when you use it to any point of Cebu when you key in Cebu airport as the pick-up point! I just saw it in their lighted box signage ads around the airport or ask the ground attendants if the promo is still available. Traffic is a little hassle, in my case I have an event so I was little time crippled. It took me around 1.5 hrs going to the hotel. Check-in: Checking in was so smooth. Well the hotel is my owned by the company I worked for so my accommodation was reserved a week before. But still, the lobby is very spacious and there are plenty of couches to sit in if you happen to arrive with a line. They gave me a free pack of griffin's cookies as well which I think is a cute way of sampling (no to hard-sells) :P . Don't forget to get your breakfast buffet stub/s if ever you are qualified, they always give it during check in. Room: I got a room at the 6th floor which is very convenient. I hate staying at higher places. Waiting in the elevator is so excruciating especially when travelling alone. So The room is very spacious,AC and Cable TV works well (these two is a must for me) and the wi-fi access/signal is okay. The bathroom tiles has molds and the shower no longer have a heater, the water pressure is poor as well.. So I think proper maintenance is in order. Transpo: The hotel's location is A++! if you want to be close to the malls, bars and restaurants. In just a few clicks, you can have a Grab driver pick you up. As for me, I went to Robinsons Galleria Cebu (for work), then went to Cebu IT Park and ate at Zubuchon and capped my night off drinking Sauvignon Blanc at La Vie Parisienne. Trust me when I say that this is how you want to spend your first day in Cebu City. ;) Food: I had an early flight going to Davao the next day so I woke up at around 6am to spend my morning eating at the hotels restaurant which serves breakfast buffet from 5am-10am. I'll rate the food 3.5, the pancakes served are a bit cold, the bacon is perfect tho and the sinangag was okay. All in all, I enjoyed my breakfast overlooking the City with a cup of half and half coffee (it rhymes!) lol Stay was a 4 for me. It can be perfect but the bathroom sucks. So yeah... :)
Stayed there for a few nights with my love and I was bit surprised of the very spacious room at a very reasonable price. Simply amazing. Very posh and cozy at the same time. By far, its the most convenient hotel Ive stayed with. Theres just a mall below and fastfood chains and shopping center, so you need not to go far. It is overlooking the city so, at night you'll enjoy watching the city lights, people passing by and the traffic downstairs. 😊😊
