Great location
Overall, we had an enjoyable stay in this house, but our first-day experience was quite disappointing. Upon our arrival, the person who let us in communicated with us through translated messages to French. She showed us around the house and gave us the keys. However, just 15 minutes after her departure, we discovered there were no bedsheets provided, despite the listing clearly stating that bedsheets were included.
We messaged the host, and she mentioned that she would need to ask the owner about it. After a while, we received a message stating that if we wanted bedsheets, we would have to pay an additional €150. This was quite unexpected and felt like a joke. Fortunately, after explaining that bedsheets were listed as included, she eventually dropped them off.
I would advise future guests to double-check and confirm all the inclusions before booking to avoid any disappointments.
Additionally, the cleanliness of the shower room left much to be desired. The shower curtain had noticeable stains, and there was black and orange mold inside the shower.
One more thing to note is that we paid for a heated swimming pool, which we learned about from reading reviews rather than from the property description. This could be clarified in the listing for future guests.
Despite these initial hiccups, our stay improved, and we appreciated the features the house had to offer. Thank you.
