Lovely property, amazing location & views
Lovely property with amazing views over the bay. Nice and spacious with good aircon and shade on terrace to avoid heat of afternoon.
Good level of equipment though a bread knife, kettle (had to use a saucepan) and some more bowls/tumbler glasses (had to keep washing these up) would have been better. Would have been nice if the place was 100% clean on arrival (toilet cover had mould, spiderwebs in bedrooms and clothes drawers needed a cleanout), but we sorted ourselves.
The pool is lovely but note little/no shade. Renters would be advised to buy a parasol for the pool and beach - approx €25.
The location is ideal, away from any crowds but only 5 mins in car from boulangerie, lovely beaches and the town. A regular (free in summer) bus runs from the domaine to the town.
A special mention must be made to our wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome and even went out of their way to give us a quick tour of the area (the pool, supermarket, the boulangerie plus recommended restaurants and beaches).
If booking via vrbo, just watch the pricing on the site as vrbo isnt very transparent on all costs up front - the price advertised is just the property but tourist taxes and vrbos marketing/admin fees adds a further 15-20% to the cost.
Would consider staying again.
