Lovely 2-bedroom flat in the centre of Cauterets

Located in a secure historic residence, on the 2nd floor with lift (plus 10 steps), this 3-bedroom apartment faces east with partial mountain views.
You will have access to a large shared south-facing terrace on the same level as the flat (but not adjoining).

The flat is quiet and bright, with double glazing. It comprises :
-1 living room / fitted kitchen with washing machine and television
-1 bedroom with 140cm bed
-1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds (90cm)
-1 full bathroom with bath
-1 separate toilet
A ski/bike room is available at the entrance to the residence.

Free parking nearby, with the possibility of parking temporarily in front of the residence to unload.

Household linen is not provided: towels, sheets, fitted sheets, tea towels.

Rates for 3-week stay: HS (July-August): 800€ / BS: 550€.

In the heart of the Pyrenees National Park, right in the centre of Cauterets, above the Gave stream, you can walk from the flat to the Lys cable car, the Pont d'Espagne shuttle bus, the famous thermal baths and seaside resort, the hiking trails, the ice rink, restaurants, cinemas and all the shops...

We like to enjoy the flat with our family, and to make it as welcoming as possible, we leave kitchen utensils and a few basic items on site for you to use: coffee, filters, tea, oil, etc.
All we ask is that you replace whatever you have finished during your stay.

We do not charge a cleaning fee but we do ask you to leave the flat clean at the end of your stay or we will retain part of the deposit.

Finally, we leave board games, books, walking guides and a few pointers to our favourite restaurants at your disposal.
The apartment is heated and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.

A notre arrivée quel dommage de constater l'état de de l'appartement que j'ai du entièrement nettoyer après avoir effectué 8h de route. Le propriétaire avait dû faire des travaux, il y avait de la poussière de plâtre partout, la chasse d'eau des toilettes n'avait pas été tiré. Le seau et la serpillière encore pleine de plâtre était au milieu de la pièce. Le canapé est très taché et plein de poussière de plâtre, nous avons du mettre un drap dessus pour pouvoîr nous y asseoir. La vaisselle est vieillotte mais les équipements sont fonctionnels et le matelas de la chambre double est correct. L'appartement est très bien situé, une boulangerie juste en face de l'immeuble et autres commerces. Mise à part ce problème de propreté, nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

Ce logement n’est pas adapté aux personnes âgéesEscalier très étroit pour y accéder sans rampe Les chambres sont très petites, manque d’air.Pas de prise électrique dans la petite chambre.Pas d’accès à internet.Le logement est construit sur le torrent très bruyant impossible d’avoir un seul moment de répit, jour et nuit le bruit du torrent est assourdissant on ne peut pas ouvrir les fenêtres sans être dérangé.Cependant l’emplacement en centre ville et proche du centre thermal est intéressant.

Semaine à cauterets

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine à Cauterets dans cet appartement idéalement placé en centre ville. L appartement est petit mais fonctionnel. Le seul (petit) bémol, si vous êtes sensibles au bruit le gave passe sous les fenêtres, mais une fois les fenêtres fermées on n’entend presque plus rien, l appartement est très bien isolé. Le propriétaire répond très rapidement à nos questions. C est une location à recommander !

Petit Appartement en plein centre de Cauterets

L’emplacement de la location est idéal, le propriétaire est très réactif, l’équipement de l’appartement est bien. Pour les vacanciers d’été qui sont sensibles au bruit, le cours d’eau qui passe au pied de l’immeuble s’entend beaucoup quand les fenêtres sont ouvertes (bruit naturel mais il faut s’habituer). Cet appartement mériterait peut être un petit rafraîchissement pour être au top.

APPARTEMENT HYPERCENTRE

Nous avons passé 3 semaines dans cet appartement. Au début, le Gave au pied de l'immeuble nous a un peu gênés mais on s'est vite habitués. L'avantage pas de vis-à-vis ! Nous avons apprécié les 4 fenêtres qui apportaient de la lumière dans chaque pièce et la vue sur la place de la Mairie. Nous étions à 2 mn à pied de la station thermale. Les commerces et les restaurants sont à la porte de l'immeuble. Nous n'avons pas fait de cuisine mais il y a tout ce qu'il faut et même plus. Le propriétaire est à l'écoute et rappelle en cas d'absence pour répondre à toutes vos interrogations. C'est

Bilan de mon sejour

Appart très très bien placé les télécommandes tv ne fonctionnent pas bien malgré piles changees radiateur chambre en panne mais n avons pas eu froid manivelle cuisine cassée mais pas genant quelque soit le prix payé tout ses dysfonctionnement ne devraient pas avoir lieu. Tres Bon contact avec le propritaire appart à conseiller malgré tout...
