My wife and me stayed at this beautiful hotel 20-27 of July 2017. This was our first trip to Sicily and we had a pleasant surprise meeting the friendly staff at this hotel. The hotel is located not far from the airport but unfortunately there was no shuttle bus service. The hotel room had a nice balcony with a sea view. However the sea view was a little bit less than what we had hoped for, since the view was partly blocked by the hotel itself. The room was nice and clean, and agreeable in most aspects. The free wi-fi was not always reliable, but it was tolerable. The bathroom was well equipped and spacey, always plenty of hot and cold water. The AC was working nicely without too much noise. The evenings were quiet with no noise from other guests or from the pool area where the bar was located. The room service and the bar personnel were exceptionally accommodating and professional, anything could be arranged. The pool area was also very nice with comfortable sunbeds and free towels for the guests. The pool water was excellent, always clean and crystal clear. The music that was played on the loudspeakers at the restaurant and the pool area was soft, not too load, modern and relaxing while you enjoyed the pleasant and quiet atmosphere at the hotel. We were a little bit disappointed about the menu at the restaurant, we would have liked to see a greater variety of Italian dishes offered. A local bus had a stop 50 meters from the hotel, and would take you to the center of Catania within 10 minutes. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, well worth the money!
stayed in the NH Parco Degli Aragonesi for 3 nights - overall we had a good stay! Breakfast was very good with a vast selection including Sicilian Sweets :)!! Rooms were comfortable. We had a problem with ants however it was seen to.
We want to say thankyou to Alessandro and his Food and beverage team for the dinner. We went to the restaurant for two times and the service was more than great. We felt more than welcome and the service was very personal and more than good. This is how it's supposed to be. Keep on going the good work with your team Mr. Alessandro.
Hotel staff helpful & friendly Some areas tired and benefit refurbishment.i.e. Corridor carpets stained and discoloured, walls arround reception appear 'damp' damaged, pool area tatty Prices serverly inflated - I.e. A small local beer €5 - in the tatty bar over the road the same drink €1.50 - admittedly you don't get 2/3dishes of 'nibbles' with it but you have the option to buy your own and still save money I would not recommend this hotel as a holiday destination because... is situated on a busy & noisy main road and the pool is at the front by the road It's on a flight path so plane noise is also an issue There are no 'good' restaurants within walking distance (there are a couple of small bar restaurants but they are scruffy & not where you would want to dine at night A taxi into Catania is €15 EACH WAY it is too far to walk to anything of interest Catania may have some historical interests but it is dirty graffiti covered and generally not a nice city
Nice hotel near the beach, with beach facilities. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. It's a shame that you can't use the pool facilities anymore when you checked out and you have your flight later that day.
A rather clean hotel, with a nice little garden where you can relax or work. I cannot complain about the varied spread of food put up in the breakfast room. Rather good by my standard. Down side is that there's no coffee making facilities in the room, or free water available.
We stayed here 2 nights because it was close to airport, I guess it was best choice. You can reach the hotel with taxi from airport 20-25 Euro if you book online it advance it also cost same. Old but luxury hotel built quality is good, we had a garden view room which was good. There is not a free bottle of water in the room (in this category hotels you always find) of course you can pay 3 euro for small bottle from minibar. Breakfast was nothing extraordinary special but it had everything you need, if you need gluten free ask to waiters they always ready to help. You can use the pool or either beach which is 2 minutes walking distance also included free towels and sunbed. Private beach makes it nice especially if you compare how busy other beaches around. There is a pool bar by the pool but do not expect much service at beach. I would recommend the hotel especially if you book in advance it can be good value for money.
Perfect private beach, good rooms (bit dirty shower head and duvet), decent food, nice pool. Great service, good if you want to stay a few days to chill after landing on a backpacker trip, or for a week on a family vacation!
The sandy beach is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The service and the quality of the food was really professional in the restaurant. We had some ups and downs with the city, but the hotel never disappointed us.
Arriving at Nh Catania after Palermo, we were pleased to see this comfortable Hotel and our room at the long Catania Beach. The personnell were friendly. Room was clean and causy. The pool and the private beach in front of the hotel was nice. Breakfast and lunch was good.
