The charming village of Castrignano de’ Greci has a rich history influenced by the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, and Normans. This heritage is reflected in the town\'s architecture and cultural traditions. The village is just 10 minutes by car from the beautiful Salento coastline and a 20-minute drive from the capital Lecce, often referred to as the \"Florence of the South”.

Beach lovers will want to head to Torre dell\' Orso (a 17-minute drive), known for its incredible beaches, crystal-clear waters, fine white sand and striking limestone cliffs. This area\'s two most famous beaches are Spiaggia di Torre dell\' Orso and Spiaggia delle Due Sorelle (Beach of the Two Sisters). Another notable attraction nearby (a 20-minute drive) is the Grotta della Poesia (Cave of Poetry), a natural sea cave known for its emerald-green waters that has become popular for cliff diving and swimming.
