We had a beautiful two night stay at The Shores and found it to be extraordinary on all fronts. The property is exquisite only exceeded by the hospitality of Annette and her fine team. Our accommodations were perfect with a large comfortable room and amazing views. We had a great view of the sheep grazing, the colorful gardens and the ocean. The bathroom was nice too with a skylight allowing a view of the gardens out back and up the mountain. Breakfast (ordered the evening before) was delicious and a relaxing way to start one’s day. The location is excellent if you’re seeking a spot somewhat remote but an easy drive to more active locales. The small town of Castlegregory is a short drive which has a few good places to eat. The Conor Pass which takes one over the mountains to Dingle is just down the road. It’s a wild road but doable for the average driver. Overall, The Shores is a luxurious property with awesome hosts that we highly recommend.

This place is outstanding Annette is a fabulous host Such a beautiful person and a great cook We were a an adult group of 7 and our every need was catered for! Well beyond our expectations What a wonderful unspoilt part of the world

No expense was spared here. Our room was tiny but felt extremely plush with new light carpeting, fluffy white pillows and bedding. Tea and cakes tucked away in the cabinet for us. The dining room is very elegant and the food amazing, I had the smoked salmon with eggs and the portion was enough for two people. My aunt had the waffles and said they were the best she ever had.

We had two lovely nights in this accommodation. It had everything. It's in a lovely peaceful area, even though it is on the main road to Dingle via Conor Pass. Annette is a super hostess, a super cook and runs a very efficient guest accommodation business.

We stayed at the Shores House Bed and Breakfast in May. The inn was directly across the street from the ocean with breathtaking views. Our room was on the small side but ample. Furnishings were classic and welcoming. The highlight of our stay was our Irish hostesses. She was warm and friendly and an outstanding cook. Our included breakfast was more than bountiful and delicious. Our hostess insisted on packing some biscuits and breakfast fare for us to take on our travels. We loved the Irish hospitality and charm.

From the moment we arrived, every part of the service / accommodation / food from Annette and the team was flawless. Highly recommend it to anyone in the are visiting Gaeltacht or driving through west Kerry or the Connor Pass.

The Shores is our favourite place to stay when we visit the Dingle peninsula. We stayed again recently, returning to this beautiful house we have come to know so well.As always, we enjoyed the hospitality, the comfort of our lovely room and of course the beautiful breakfast, freshly cooked with the greatest of care. The reviews of this special place to stay, speak for themselves. We are happy to be associated with all things positive about The Shores. We hold our promise to return again before end of August to have this lovely relaxing experience all over again. Thank you Annette, Pat & staff for great memories at your beautiful home The Shores. John & Máire Dalton Tipperary

I stayed at The Shores on the penultimate night of hiking the Dingle Way. To say the least I was a bit trail weary by this point and was not expecting more than a place to rest my head before the final day of walking. To say I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by The Shores would be a vast understatement. Everything about this charming property was a level of class and refinement that I had not experienced at all previously and I honestly felt a little self-conscious in my grubby trail clothes and muddy boots. But Annette and her staff were gracious and welcoming, and treated us like family. The breakfast served the following morning blew me away and I can honestly say that it was among the best meals I enjoyed in my 2 weeks in Ireland. The Shores are an amazing place to stay and I hope that I have the occasion to visit them again someday.

This beautiful home exudes class and refinement. Everything about The Shores is exceptional. The grounds are manicured, the furniture is beautiful, the rooms are immaculate, the beds are cozy, and the views are excellent. Annette is just lovely and extremely welcoming. This is by far the nicest B&B I've ever been in and its really a wonderful property. Breakfast was again, exceptional, and I highly recommend the eggs with salmon that comes out expertly crafted into a ball. Amazing.

We stayed 2 nights at this amazing B&B. The service by Annette and her team from arrival to departure was excellent. Our room was upstairs with a breathtaking view of the ocean and sheep/cattle grazing just across the street. The room was spacious, well appointed with high quality furnishings and linens. The bathroom was spotless and stocked with all the necessary toiletries. The breakfast was the highlight, fine dining. The dining area has a spectacular view of the ocean and is beautifully set up with fresh flowers, soft music and crisp linens. There is an extensive menu from which we ordered our breakfast the previous night, the portions were generous. It is evident in the presentation and attention to detail at breakfast that Annette and her team take pride in what they do. The home baked cakes were delicious. Everything was freshly made, the best breakfast we’ve had in a B&B. Annette recommended places of interest to visit and dine around the area and in dingle. She was extremely friendly, welcoming and chatty despite her very busy schedule. We certainly recommend the Shores and would definitely stay again.
