The charming authentic old character has been kept with the numerous fireplaces and original visible stone walls. The big family dining room is situated right beside the fully equipped modern kitchen with direct access to the lovely garden. The kitchen door leads to a shaded patio with dinning area. The second spacious and vaulted family room on the first floor has direct access to a sunny veranda and offers spectacular views due to large floor to ceiling windows. At the center of the house is the cozy family room with a large open fireplace from the 16th century. From this area the 5 double bedrooms (1 with an additional double sofa bed and one with an additional futon on the mezzanine) can be reached through a central staircase, as well as three of the four bathrooms. Around the house and in the spacious terraced garden diverse sitting and relaxing areas partially shaded can be found. From the beautiful large swimming pool 11m x 7m the most spectacular views over the valley can be enjoyed. The house is only a 20 minutes walk or 3 minutes drive to the village of Castino which boasts a typical Piedmontese trattoria, a pizzeria, a deli specialised in fresh pasta, a grocery store, a post office a typical "tabaccaio", a coffee bar and an outdoor shop where you can rent bikes and also guided bike tours.
