We (2 adults, 1 kid) spent one week at the house. We came from Chia, where we had spent the week before with friends, so we had a direct comparison of two different villas and the service that was provided by the hosts. The house was very pricey with approx. 2000 EUR/week. Taking this into consideration, our expectations did not meet reality. The host did not meet us in person at any time during our stay, not even at check-in or check-out. We were in touch via Whatsapp, but we have only received details on the position of the house and house rules on short notice and after repeated asking. The villa per se was nice, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, but without a dishwasher. AC in every room, working well. However, the floor was not cleaned well, dirty feet right away.
Two things we did not like: first, tons of ants around and inside (!) the house, especially in the kitchen. We found ant poison being spreat around the stove, but ants were living happily there despite that. We did not like the idea that poison was spreat in the kitchen, where we wanted to prepare meals for ourselves and our little kid. Second, we noticed a musty smell around the house that randomly occured. We think it had to do with extensive watering of the garden that was done automatically with a sprinkler system threetimes a day.
All in all: the villa per se is very nice. The vicinity is rural with very nice beaches and good infrastructure. But, the cost-performance-ratio was below average.
