Beautiful hilltop village
Lots of character in the village. Spent many evenings wondering around.the sounds of church bells every morning and the gentleman from the bed and breakfast next door made us feel that we were definitely in Italy. Owner was very helpful and gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants (the one in the village was closed for renovations) and solved issues with plumbing quickly. . Great base to visit Lucca, Pisa and Florence. Due to our lack
of Italian we didnât realise that there was a bakery around the corner. We have a large car and parking was tricky but we always found a space.

Appartement dans un village Ă flanc de montagne correspondant parfaitement Ă l'annonce, un peu dans son jus mais bien entretenu. La terrasse reste le point fort de l'appartement. Le clocher rythme la journĂ©e mais s'arrĂȘte le soir pour la nuit. Alessandra a bien organisĂ© notre arrivĂ©e et a toujours rĂ©agi vite en cas de problĂšme ou d'interrogation de notre part. Le logement est plutot bien situĂ© pour visiter la ligurie et les 5 terres. Nous avons vraiment aimĂ© et profitĂ© de ces vacances et de cette location que je recommande.

Logement climatisé
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans le logement.
Cependant, lâannonce mentionnait un logement climatisĂ© avec draps fournis.
Le logement est seulement climatisé dans le salon cuisine et pas dans les chambres. Un seul ventilateur pour 3 chambres avec un bébé avec 38 degrés extérieur.
Les draps Ă©taient annoncĂ©s fournis alors quâil nous a Ă©tĂ© demandĂ© un supplĂ©ment pour les avoir.
Il nous Ă©tĂ© demandĂ© 70 euros lors de notre arrivĂ©e pour le menage alors que lâappartement nâĂ©tait pas propre de base.
Nous avons trouvĂ© que lâappartement Ă©tait un peu vĂ©tuste pour le prix demandĂ© (problĂšme dâeau chaude, problĂšme d'Ă©coulement, vaiselle).
Dâautre part, la propriĂ©taire a eu du mal Ă coopĂ©rer pour lâobtention de lâautorisation de ZTL, pas cool
Nous retournerons Ă Castelnuovo Magra mais pas dans ce logement Ă ce prix lĂ
Nous sommes venus en groupe avec dâautres familles qui ont louĂ© dâautres maisons sur Castelnuovo et non pas rencontrĂ© nos problĂšmes et pour des prix bien moins chers

Nice apartment and great outdoor terrace in a small town.
There was a wonderful view over the valley.
The apartment belongs to a friendly lady and her husband.
