Getting to this property is a mission. The roads are gravel and horrible to drive through. There’s nothing to do outside this property and the property gets really dark at night so you have to be in your room by 8pm because there’s nothing else to do. Also, the food selection at the restaurant was not good. Barely any options for vegetarians and overly priced.

The facilities were immaculate. I would recommend that an option be added for the basic wines to be all inclusive in your stay, to enhance the experience with Dievole wine.

Excellent stay at Dievole! Great amenities, clean property, friendly staff and great wine. Food was good but not amazing. There are two paths to get to the property. If you’re coming from Florence or Siena, make sure to come into the property from the highway with only 1km of pleasant unpaved road instead of driving 5km of a crazy unpaved pathway like I did.

Everyone was really nice to us, it was just horrible service. They made us move tables because someone apparently reserved the one they sat us at, which is fine. But the people showed up 20 minutes after us and still had their order taken before us. The wine tour guide was nice and knowledgeable, but he kept disappearing. Us and the other people were just sitting there with empty glasses and no snacks. The other people even got up and walked around to look for him. I feel we became more frustrated then relaxed at a wine resort, which is sad.
