Villa Magarre is an elegant contemporary home accommodating up to 12 guests (maximum 10 adults), featuring 4 bedrooms, a large dormitory-style games room, and 2 bathrooms.

Nestled in a 9,000 m² park planted with truffle oak trees, in the heart of the “Little Tuscan Tarn”, it offers a peaceful and green setting, perfect for family stays, gatherings with friends, or intimate seminars.



The villa features air conditioning in all bedrooms, the living room and games room, Wi-Fi, a private heated pool from mid-April to late October, a 38°C spa accessible year-round, a landscaped park, and private parking with an electric vehicle charging station.

The 150 m² terrace offers several atmospheres: sunbathing area with loungers, shaded pergola spaces, and a convivial dining area with a fire pit (wood provided) and gas plancha grill, perfect for enjoying evenings peacefully (no parties or loud music allowed).



Inside, the villa includes a fully equipped kitchen opening onto the terrace, a welcoming dining area, a central fireplace (wood provided), and a cosy living room with a large screen and home cinema. Three bedrooms on the garden level (2 beds 180x200, 1 bed 160x200) and a spacious bedroom on the parking level (electric bed 180x200, dressing room, TV) make up the sleeping areas, complemented by 2 bathrooms, toilets, baby equipment, and a laundry room with washer and dryer.

The games/dormitory room includes two single beds, a sofa bed, ping-pong table, foosball table, and board games. Outside, you will find a pétanque court and a badminton court. A children’s playground allows younger guests to enjoy the park freely.

From start to finish the property manager was communicative and very helpful. We were a group of 7 and the villa was amazing and just what we had envisaged. The property manager ensured we were well looked after and was there if/when needed. I would highly recommend this villa.

Peaceful and relaxing

The property is easy to find although its not a main road. As a result there is little if any traffic (mainly farm vechicles) passing the far end of the garden making it a haven for peace and tranquility. Its also quite private not really being overlooked by any of the few properties near it. The house is well equipped with everything you need, there is plenty to do with table football, table tennis and a couple of pieces of gym equipment. The house is quite large with plenty of space split over 2 levels with the master bedroom downstairs along with a bathroom, games room, washing machine/dryer and access to double garage. On the upper floor is the main lounge/kitchen area with doors on to the patio areas. Also on the floor are 3 good sized bedrooms and bathroom. It could easily hold 2 families. The pool is lovely with plently of space around it. It has lights as well so can be used at night. We did have an issue with the pool heating however we messaged Stéphane and he arrived a short while later to resolve it (outstanding service). The spa/hot tub is lovely and relaxing especially once the sun goes down when you can sit in it and look up at the stars. The garden is large with enough space for a kickaround, it mostly enclosed with hedging and trees. There are a couple of gaps so families with really young children will need to keep an eye on them. Some things to note *The stairs to lower floor are a little steep *The lights in the hallway outside the bedrooms on the main floor are motion sensored which means you have to keep the bedroom doors shut or the light comes when you move in the bed *The pinball machine doesn't work property and required a euro to play. The only suggestion we would have for improvement is to have some movable sun umbrellas which can be used around the pool In summary a large house with lots to do with a great heated pool in a peaceful and transquil area

Felt like we were with family!

We were very happy with our stay. The hosts were completely helpful and the location is beautiful. The home really feels more like you are staying with relatives than renting a Villa! The house is very well appointed, the whole family could enjoy it for weeks, and not get tired of the sunset view, the lovely deck, pool & hot tub or the full family kitchen and living room. Although we didn't need it, there is a full games room! My reasons for 4/5 for cleanliness should be explained; the house is well kept and clean, but it is large, and in the country. So if someone is expecting "downtown sanitized spotlessness" then this may not be the place for you. If you like to open the windows, welcome everything that comes in! My reasons for 4/5 for location; there is a lovely, rustic, French farm next door, complete with chickens, and a road on the south edge of the property that is only partially blocked by shrubs. You can see it on Google maps, but when I looked, I didn't recognize it. I mention this only because when you look at the pictures, the Villa appears to be completely isolated. So, as long these items are recognized, this is a fabulous location, it really should get 4.8/5...

Fantastic experience

We had a great time at the villa. We arrived very late at night and our host was there to meet us. He kindly showed us round. Any questions we had were answered immediately and any issues also resolved immediately. The villa was clean and spacious and was a home away from home. The outside space and pool is perfect for all the family to relax however they want, with plenty of space to spread out. Would recommend to anyone. Our only wish was for some English speaking channels.

The villa Magarre was everything we wanted it be and more.

We have just returned from the most perfect weeks break from the villa Magarre in beautiful Castelnau de Montmiral. Stéphane was the perfect host and was helpful from the moment we first made contact until after we left. The villa is exactly as the photographs advertised and if anything they don't do the villa justice. The kitchen is very well stocked and you will want for nothing. In fact the villa has everything you need including pinball machines which were a great source of amusement. The villa's pool was perfect for our needs and was the perfect temperature. It is in the most peaceful and tranquil location and perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area. If you like privacy and serenity this is the perfect place for you. We only had a week at the villa and has been our first family holiday in 4 years due to ill health. We couldn't have asked for a better week and only wished it was a longer stay. If you're looking for a quiet, authentic french vacation look no further. This part of France is unspoilt and has beautiful Bastilles nearby. I would highly recommend a visit to Puycelsi where both restaurants were outstanding. St Antonin is another town that we would live to revisit, it is a vibrant place without being too busy. All I can say is a huge thank you to Stéphane and Géraldine for being the perfect hosts and for allowing us to share the villa. We hope to return one day and for a longer holiday.

Perfect for two families sharing,

House very comfortable, large TVs unfortunately no English channels, upstairs has three bedrooms all double beds, one bathroom and one toilet which is separate, downstairs another large bedroom plus two single and one bunk so nice and private for each family. The area is beautiful and all bastides are worth a visit, plenty to do, very nice water park nearby in Castelnau. PUycelsi has very nice restaurants, plain food but very nice. CAstlenau has good restaurant, the hotel in square we found expensive and not that good. STephane who owns the house speaks good English and is not far away for any help you may need. A very nice holiday.

Erholsame Ferien im schönen Südwest-Frankreich

Wir waren in den Pfingstferien mit vier Personen und Hund in diesem schönen Haus. Es liegt fast alleine in herrlicher Lage, in der Nähe von zahlreichen, sehenswerten Bastiden. Von dort sind zahlreiche Ausflüge möglich. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Auch der Buchungsablauf war einfach und uns wurde bei jedem Problem oder jeder Frage sofort geholfen. Das Haus selbst bietet viele Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten, gerade für Kinder. Im Wohnzimmer steht ein alter Flipper, zudem gibt es im Keller einen eigenen Spielraum, so dass auch bei schlechtem Wetter gute Laune bei den Kindern herrscht. Der Pool und der Whirlpool sind beheizt und liegen sehr schön. Zudem sind vier Fahrräder im Schuppen, so dass auch kleinere Fahrradtouren möglich sind. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub verbracht. Vor allem die ruhige, ländliche Umgebung lässt einen den Alltagsstress schnell vergessen. Wir können dieses Domizil weiter empfehlen und werden sicherlich auch wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für einen schöne Urlaub Stephane.

Schönes Haus indem es an Nichts fehlt

Das Haus ist etwas abseits und sehr ruhig gelegen. Im Haus fehlt es an nichts. Der Pool war trotz unserer Ferien Mitte Oktober immer noch sehr warm und konnte von uns allen super genutzt werden. Wem es trotzdem zu kalt war konnte sich im Whirlpool aufheizen. Das Haus verfügt über enorm viele Sitzgelegenheiten und ein riesengrosses Areal. Ob Fussballspielen oder sich einfach etwas zurückziehen (Teenager!) alles ist möglich.
