Great Location & Views, But Pools Need Attention We loved the marina views from the balcony—such a peaceful spot with boats passing by. The apartment is in a prime location, just a short walk to the beach and main street full of restaurants and bars. Staff were responsive, replacing a broken kettle quickly and providing a second key when asked. Fresh towels and sheets were provided after a week. However, the property needs better maintenance. The bathroom tap was loose, some plug sockets were uncovered, and the balcony door didn’t lock. The pools were a major letdown—bird droppings around the upstairs pool and thick green grime in the downstairs one, which stained swimwear. Extra charges for a balcony (£65) and parking (£12/day) added up. Also, boat residents using the facilities made it feel less exclusive. With some improvements, this could be a fantastic stay.

False advertisment of facilities

Overall the accomodation was ok, nothing amazing but comfy enough, it does need some attention however. The major downside was the 'spa' facilities and the communication from the very rude staff members. The sauna and gym were closed due to Covid-19, this is understandable but there was no mention of this online, and I tried calling beforehand to ask but no one answered. Then the 'hot tub' was in fact freezing cold, and all the staff could say was "That's how it's always been, it's never been warm" So essentially they are falsely advertising using the phrase hot tub when in fact it's more of a plunge pool. Listings on hotels.com also show balconies in some pictures even for basic rooms, upon arrival I was informed I would have to pay €10 a day extra to get a balcony. Not best pleased overall.

Late summer vacation

Very good complex. 2 excellent swimming pools and ample sun beds. Location perfect adjacent to the main canal outlet to the Mediterranean. Beach 15 minutes walk with abundant golden sands. The resort is large with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to suite all tastes. However, public transport is quite limited so a car is desirable.

Disappointing, really disappointing.

We so wanted to love it. The location is fabulous, you are almost able to touch the masts of the sailing yachts moored outside the panoramic windows. The kitchen is fabulous - bigger than mine at home! But the apartment was very dilapidated. Unclean, lots of things broken or not working & ill equipped. Staff we're ok but no phone in the apartment meant every time something was wrong you had to keep trekking back to reception (when open). We're normally very tolerant of all these complaints but so many things were wrong it was very disappointing. I can't really recommend and hope that Pierre & Vacance make some effort to improve what could be a stunning place.

The room we stayed in had feces on the blanket.

The room we stayed in had feces on the blanket inside the pull out couch. It is obvious the blanket had not been washed. The front desk person seemed shocked and speechless when we told her the next morning and showed her photos. We were scheduled for three days here but we checked out the next morning. Expedia told me they would negotiate on our behalf for a refund but apparently, I am being told no one at the hotel is available to discuss with Expedia about a refund. I will do whatever I can to make sure everyone knows about this hotel.

Nice apartments

+ Nice 2 bed apartment shared by 4. Large kitchen/diner with decent appliances and plenty of room for baby and storage. Lift to all but rooftop terrace. Room was clean. Pool on roof lovely temp in september (although unheated) with nice views. - Beds are the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. Room had some wear and tear - door handles falling off and maintenance not interested in fixing. Wifi at additional cost. The apartments are at the posh end of town, but the town centre is 10 minutes walk away, beach 15 mins. Parking charges expensive and free parking nearby fills up quickly. Would stay again, would hope the management would improve the comfort of beds first!

Well priced apartments, but a little soullesss

Well priced accommodation for a family of four for two nights, but the location and decor left us a little wanting. It's a bit of a walk to actually get to the beach (20 mins), but the room was well equipped and tidy. Wifi was expensive and spotty, and the whole complex was a little soulless (as is most of Empuribrava). Pool had families and older folks, but the rooftop was a little cramped. Glad we were able to book in a crunch, but would stay in Roses next time.

Great stay

We had a great stay. I was there with my husband & 2 girls (11&9) and we all enjoyed it. The rooms were lovely, clean and we also had a great view. We were looked after very well. I would recommend staying.

Great for travelling through Spain to france

An unexpected surprise. Love this place although it is rather yachty. Went out of season and it was rather quiet - but easy to park! The apartment was fantastic - well equipped and good location. It was larger than expected (for the price). The staff were helpful. Would recommend to people travelling between Spain and France
