This is a Nice quite place to spend your holiday. Sitting on our balcony we had a perfect vieuw. From here you take the car and Go to Nice beaches and places like San Remo and Imperia. There is a refreshing pool were you can have a swim. The appartments are oké and you can have a Nice drink at the golf club with good vieuw. The hotel isn't that fancy, but realy oké of you check the price you have to pay.
In order to turn on or adjust the air-conditioner, you had to call the front desk have them change the computerized temperature controls. Noisy a/c, not user friendly, in any respect. The room we had was sparsely furnished with thrift shop furniture and utterly lacking in any charm, and gave no sense that it had ever been decorated by anyone with any semblance of taste. The fridge had water when we arrived, "no refills next days". The large bathroom contained a tiny shower and, exceptionally, was ill lit and therefore dark. Facial tissues were not available. On the other hand, the Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The menu suffered somewhat from lack of variety and quantity, but was not bad.
The pictures and reviews are inaccurate. The furnishings are modern and rooms are comfortable but the service is poor, the grounds are not maintained and it is not value for money. In addition the food is the worst we've had whilst travelling around Italy. Our meals arrived stone cold and we were one of two families in the restaurant. Half the hotel has closed down so only part of it open to guests and there is only one restaurant with two choices on the menu. One positive is it is out of the way but even so, it is not quiet if you are looking for that don't expect it. The awful noise of the evening entertainment which I mistook for poor karaoke was eye watering. A really disappointing end to our holiday in Italy. Don't bother.
We stayed at this hotel on the weekend of the Grand Prix. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, particularly the receptionist and the waiters. We originally were given a room without a balcony but they very kindly changed it to one with a balcony. I would definitely stay again
my wife and I chose this hotel because we are fans of residences when we take our vacation in Italy. On the way there our navigation took us to a side road which was really really bad (now I understand the users comments) and our first thought was S__T! But when we arrived, the reception was very friendly and told us to drive the main road which we later did and was genuinely relieved that we need not drive the kamikaze way down. Now to the hotel/residence. It is typical Italian, look closer and you will find faults, but on the whole the location high up on the hill was perfect for a quiet get away, the restaurant we did not use so I can't say anything about the food. During our stay there we were constantly exploring the region, so we did not use any of the facilities. I was at the "gym" once, it was more for people who wants to do cardio exercise then a "fully" equipped gym. On the whole the experience at the apartment was great for the price we booked with an internet provider.
After a great climp we found this good and quiet hotel in the near of the village of Castellaro. Very kind people at the reception, lovely room with sight to the golf, a perfect restaurant and to cool a comfortabel swimmingpool with stretchers. To Play golf the course with 9 holes is not so easy to walk, because you have to go up en down most of all in the beginning.
We stayed here as part of a stop over. I booked on Internet but called to say we would be late arrival. What a great place and wonderful staff. We arrived after Restraunt was shut but the staff had a cold plate. Just fabulous. The hotel was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very nice. Nice looking pool and course. The only down side was we had to go. Highly recommended for short stay.
This hotel is settled up of the hill having a great panaroma, peacefull atmosphere and very polite staff. The town near to the hotel is very special small town. We stayed in this nice hoten 2 nights while going to Milan. This hotel is really one of the best for rest. We enjoyed and felt good during dinners whlie having our house wine and listenin very smooth live music with cello or piano.
This is not a place to stay if you expect anything like service, cleanliness or hospitality. The rooms where poorly cleaned and equipped. The staff at the not so modern front desk seamed to be very slow and unwilling to help. It is not a resort, the name should definitely be changed. The mentioned free wifi is just in the lobby, it could not be used anywhere in the actual room. It is a golf course and some houses around it. The location is far from everything and situated on a hill with a 10 minutes drive to the beach.
Had a stay as part of the Monaco F1 GP deal. The price we paid was great, the hotel is up a steep mountain road, which I loved, but not for the faint hearted. Hotel staff are good and speak English, service was good, there is a spa and swimming pool at the hotel which we didn't use, but was very clean. Food was the downside to the hotel, dinner wasn't on par for what we paid for it. €73 for dinner for 2 and it just wasn't great Great beds and got a really good sleep, rooms are clean and we had a lovely sea view Apart from the food i can't fault the hotel in the slightest
