WONDERFUL stay. The house is beautiful in the most amazing location. Hosts went above and beyond in all areas, communicating before the stay and making sure we were comfortable. The house was clean and everything was in working order. When our car battery died just as we were ready to leave, in the pouring rain the hosts were able to give us a jump and get us on our way. Would definitely recommend as the perfect place to stay!Grocery store 5 minutes away, restaurants 5 minutes away

Gorgeous location in the mountains
Pros: The host was great. The house is in a remote location with a huge garden which was perfect for our dog. The view of the mountains was spectacular. There was a couple of good dog walks, one right behind the house up the hill and another I found on my All trails App to the Ponte dell’Orco which is basically a walk to a piece of mountain that has naturally come away to form a bridge. You can walk from the house to the start of the walk if you don't mind the steep hill back to the house. There is a stone built BBQ in the garden which was great. The bed was comfy and the shower in the upstairs bathroom was really good. It’s a real home away from home. We could use the washing machine, cook and log in to our Netflix etc. We were able to totally relax and switch off. If you are looking for tranquility and relaxation this is a great place to stay. The nearest pub is Rosy’s. Its a 30 minute walk and the uphill on the way back is best to do after the sun has gone down. The pizza was amazing.
Cons: It was a bit daunting getting up the hill in our camper. You have to go past the entrance, do a u turn and come back down to get onto the drive to the remote controlled gates. If another vehicle had been coming up the hill reversing up it to let them through would have been tricky. However it’s so remote that would be unlikely and it was in the mountains so what did I expect. There was no kettle or tea towels in the kitchen. Luckily we had these in our camper. Also the host wanted to meet elsewhere and show us how to get to the place and take the taxes, extra payment for towels and the dog and the deposit in cash which was a pain because they had to come back at 6am the day we were leaving. I would prefer this to be automated as we just happened to have enough euros to pay all this on the day. The directions on apple maps does get you there so it’s not necessary, they just need to explain the weird u turn thing on the site.

Steil
