The room was terrific, the breakfast was fantastic! The only odd thing was the women at the front desk. She was strangely rude to me every time I engaged her. As I was leaving I asked her name and she wouldn’t give it to me.

Five stars should have certain issues resolved: breakfast where replacing items is slow, ex.: fruit. I had to wait till both cups and glasses were cleaned as there were not sufficient in number to cover those having breakfast. The front desk girl: EXCEPTIONAL ! Speaks English and French perfectly and is an asset trying to resolve any problem.

This hotel is in a great position, with an easy walk to parks and several tourist sites. The bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. While the hotel itself is a little tired and not quite as fresh as the pictures suggest, it still represents good value for money. Breakfast was adequate and provided a solid start to the day. I also had lunch in the restaurant one afternoon and really enjoyed the salad. The hotel’s communication and efficiency, especially with check-in and general organisation, were good. I didn’t personally experience the “wow” level of service that some other guests have mentioned, but overall, it was a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Well situated, safe valet parking and clean rooms and facilities that have a luxurious feel. If I was to have one criticism it would be for the very limited fitness centre. Two cardio machines and no benches, two free weights of about 5lbs each. No issues at check in staff was very friendly.
