No word can be said except excellent and exceeding expectations. The most professional hotel in my opinion from bottom to top The stay is worth every penny. Every corner is a beauty and the staff are so professional and kind
The hotel was comfortable and clean. Classic luxury hotel spent only 2 days here during our first visit to Casablanca. The hotel had a great restaurant with traditional food in the lobby. Staff was helpful in providing directions and places we should visit. The room was great and bed was comfortable.
This hotel is very beautiful inside. The rooms are very beautifully colored and the food is great. You can walk about half a block over to the outdoor market. Do be aware that it is not located near the beach or any very touristy attraction. You have to take a taxi to the beach area and it can be about a 15-30 minute ride.
My wife and i spent 5 days in Royal Mansour Casablanca Hotel. The staff was very helpful. Nice rooms, clean and comfortable bed. Also, the view from there was amazing! The hotel’s restaurant is very good, but i expected something better. Although, i really impress with hotel's SPA. It is one of the highlights of the hotel. It is worth to mention the region where hotel is located!!
I spent a week in this hotel in December 2014. The employees were very friendly and polite. The room was big enough and the bed rather comfortable. The free internet service was ok. Good breakfast with nice Moroccan sweets and tea.
Very central location. Amazing breakfast under the high ceiling skylight. What a pity that this hotel is no longer affiliated to Méridien. Beautiful wooden floor in well equipped rooms and bathrooms. Old style excellent service.
tired old monolith. No orange juice at breakfast; the coffee machine didn't work; staff produced something eventually. Loitering noisy men in the foyer. Colleague booked in for 3 nights and was told after the second that they were closing for renovation and he was being moved to the Sheraton. Owned by the Royal Family apparently - but I didn't see Ricky Tomlinson.
I have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the last year and the experience has always been good until this visit. In fact past experience has been excellent, which has magnified my disappointment this time. The rooms are still clean and well looked after but the service side of the hotel has quite frankly gone down the drain. Perhaps the worst aspect of this is the employees on the door and reception. No longer is there a warm greeting or is the door held open for guests. The employees preferred to talk among themselves and just let us get on with it. This happened every time we went in or out of the hotel. There was no explanation about the hotel or local area on check in just issue of the key, all very business like but the friendly and helpful touch I was used to was nowhere to be seen. At breakfast the next day I had to ask for coffee three times and in the end got a bit annoyed because it was taking so long to come. Thankfully that did the trick and I got a cup of coffee. I was delighted to see that the breakfast chef was still there. He is the best thing about that place. Always smiling, helpful, chatty and just totally brilliant. He stands out even more now that this attitude has evaporated elsewhere. We were totally ripped off by taxis for the whole duration of the stay. The only time the door staff sprung to life was when they got a whiff that we needed a taxi and it was always the same taxi driver who grossly overcharged us for our journeys. We were charged 100 dirham for journeys which should have been 20. When we tried to get a taxi off the street the door staff became very vocal virtually ordering us into the taxi they wanted us to get into. It was very clear to us that they were running a racket with the driver to rip off guests. This particular driver in cahoots with the door staff of the hotel actually dropped two colleagues on the hard shoulder of the motorway after promising to take them to the airport and then tried to extort an additional 25 euros from them to add to the inconvenience and danger of the situation. When I came to check out the hotel informed me that my company's travel agent had not settled the bill and asked me to pay around 1100 dirham. We nearly missed our train because of the delay this caused. In the end the hotel allowed us to leave without paying ourselves. After I returned home my travel agent supplied evidence that payment methods had been supplied to the hotel and this stressful situation had no need to arise. I travel to Casablanca regularly and the only way I will be staying here again is if all the other hotels are full.
Our trip to Morocco started and ended at this hotel. Upon arriving, we took a day room to spend a few hours napping and freshening up before joining our group. Too bad the day rate was the full 24 hr rate. The staff was very helpful when our group did not materialize at the hour expected. After touring the country, we had our final night here. It was convenient in the middle of the city, especially so since we had determined that out luggage was now overweight and we'd be well served by purchasing a new smaller bag we we could get conveniently at the nearby souk.
Good breakfast choice with delicious locally grown olives and fruit. Interesting Hammam experience - very hot steam room, massage and rub down with an exfoliating loofah! Local Casablanca brand beer tasty if somewhat sweet aftertaste. Excellent restaurant in the hotel serving local Moroccan dishes.
