The hotel is not old but is in bad conditions, so I guess the maintenance must be quite bad. The pool looked a bit dirty and the bubble jets were not working at all in the spa. The room was dirty (more likely to be a quick cleaning for ages) and we did not have any hot water for 2 nights... Very disappointed for a 5 stars hotel, and far below standards when you have the option to go to the four Seasons or even to the Sofitel
Great lobby and views for top floors and restaurants Need a taxi to go to places to visit in Casablanca The rooms are getting old Not much to do close to the hotel No outdoor pool Nice front desk staff
Really enjoyed my stay there the concierge is super helpful kudos to them.... my second stay there deffinately not my last...thanks for the room upgrade... breakfast on the second floor is super location is perfect thanks a million
Hotel was really good . Hotel staff could not do enough for you with the exception of the front desk at checking out . I was there for 10 days and checked out yesterday Wednesday 9th August . Through out my stay I did not use the mini bar but on checking out there was a charge for 130 Dir ( approx. £13 ) for 2 mini boxes of pringles . Now on the second Sunday of my stay( day 7 ) these 2 mini boxes were left in the room beside the complimentary tray . Prior to that there had only been coffee and water as expected . I assumed that the pringles were complimentary and consumed them . No further boxes were left in room after that . On challenging the mini bar charge I explained that I assumed they were complimentary but the Desk Manager said they were part of the mini bar and insisted I pay . I was not happy and asked to see the Duty Manager . She again was adamant I had to pay but I explained that before that Sunday no pringles were ever left in the room . She said that they were out off stock and therefore not available but I said there was no notice on the minibar or saying they were out of stock . She again insisted I had to pay . I said that my total bill was 17,900 Dir ( nearly £1,800 ) and that I had a colleague who was staying on for a further 5 weeks and he was going to be in the same position I was as he had also eaten the pringles which appeared for 1 day only . I refused to pay and asked to speak with the Duty Manager' boss the " Director ". I went to my room to collect by bags and when I went down to resolve the issue the bill had been amended but no sign of the Duty Manager or the Director . I settled the new bill and then had to write down why I had not paid the 130 Dir for the pringles . At no time did I receive an apology and this left a bitter feeling . The rest of the stay was excellent I feel the Senior Team need to review how they deal with minor complaints like this . I hope they review my colleague's minibar cost before presenting him with the bill
Lovely hotel with all the amenities It had beautiful rooms and is centrally located. Close to 2 stations (Casa Port and voyegeurs) and tram The hotel has a gym, spar and a heated indoor pool. Taxi to airport cost mad300 The staff are very friendly and helpful. Taxi around the area cost mad10 Has free wifi. There's also a business center which has computers and a printer for guests to use.
The hotel is getting old. The room floors have strong oder. The room furniture needs change. The vanity water do not go down well. Needs total remodeling. The breakfast quality and variety has gone down. They no longer have chief making food looks like minimum wage person doing their best. The food in room service is okay. The door people are very friendly. Four season much better.
Very Central, neat, clean, secure hotel with all amenities needed and very well educated staff who are at your back and call. Only had breakfast, which had an excellent choice, so I cannot comment on the food apart from that. A very well stocked bar at the back of the lobby but the Sky Bar on the 28th floor is amazing. Thoroughly recommended.
Hotel has a beautiful view and located fairly conveniently in Casablanca. The Mosque/coast/old town are all 10 min cab ride away. The rooms were modern and I especially loved the bathroom with ceiling showers and a huge tub but unfortunately the bathroom had a hint of sewage smell the entire week we were there. The concierge was helpful but I am fairly certain they have "partner" restaurants to recommend, as multiple party from our group was recommended a new restaurant that was otherwise empty. I suggest doing your own research for restaurants instead of relying fully on the concierge for recommendations. I also had an instance where the concierge told me a booking had been made at the Rick's Cafe at my requested time but was contacted a day later that this was a mistake and I don't actually have a reservation. Breakfast spread is good, but don't get the room service. Overpriced and the quality is not great for what you pay. The hotel is overall great, but small mishaps here and there.
I had the pleasure of staying several times in this hotel last months, and enjoyed very much the attentive way staff handles its clients, it is like feeling at home. Rooms are clean, in good shape, spacious and well equipped, with toilet separate from the bathroom, which is always a good thing. Excellent beds. I am not specifically fond of the location of the hotel, you need a taxi to get to the restaurant area or the souk. There is a restaurant at the top floor with lacks a bit of atmosphere, but kitchen is excellent.
Very large hotel in the center of the city. Comfortable rooms, modern hotel. Top floor resturant and bar offered the most amazing birds eye view of the city. Service was professional, but definitely a large scale operation. They did accommodate our group with a continental breakfast at a crazy early time in the morning.
