My mom and I traveled to Acworth, Georgia to visit her sister, husband and family. We decided to stay at a hotel because we were not telling them we were coming and wanted to surprise them. I knew when looking for a hotel the area I wanted to stay in and the Red Roof Inn was convenient to I-75 and not far from my aunts house. I did read the reviews before booking and their were both positive and negative reviews. When we saw were the hotel was located it was a little questionable only because they had torn down buildings around the hotel and it set back off the road. We checked in and the room was very clean but the bathroom was very small but clean. After going to meet up with our family and telling them the hotel we were staying at they gave me a panic attack with what to expect that was goes on at that hotel. Well we stayed their for 5 nights and never heard or saw anything out of the ordinary. Rina was very nice and pleasant and was very accommodating. We will stay their again if and when we go back to Acworth!
Checked in around 10 pm on a Saturday night. Had to talk to the attendant through a glass barrier. She spoke with an accent and I had trouble hearing/ understanding her. When she stated the cost, she said that it was with a discount. Not asking for a discount, I asked what discount. And she replied, “Any discount “. She then did run my credit card properly and it was denied. It required the chip process and she did not know about the chip approval. I’d say she was not adequately trained for her job. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Breakfast in the morning was mediocre. Will not return to this Ref Roof Inn.
hidden gem! great prices, extremely clean and updated room with everything we needed! We actually extended our stay because we were straight up cozy! :) Sweet owners and accommodating staff. Thanks again!
I've been staying at this hotel for years...even before it was the Red Roof Inn....I changed from the Holiday Inn simply because of the staff, the cleanliness, the ease of making reservations, they give a military discount, and the prices are unbeatable. I LIKE the owners and staff have stayed the same all the years....I adore Rina Patel. There is comfort in being known....having my preferences remembered, and the staff and owners are so accommodating. You couldn't pay me to change to any of the other hotels, and especially not Holiday Inn, again. Red Roof is more than worth the value....and I Love their beds.....so comfortable.
Newly updated and very neat rooms smell clean and feel clean. Wood floors and to that clean feel. Hospitable and kind staff always eager to help. Convenient location on 75 and a Waffle House is in walking distance too!
We’re driving up from Florida headed to Illinois to spend Christmas with family. Stopped at Red Roof a few exits before and had exceptionally rude service so we left. Drove a little further and stopped at this Red Roof was greeted by a friendly reservationists Rina Patel who promptly got us checked in room was very nice and clean. Love the wood floors so much nicer with our fur babies. Room had a fridge and microwave which we didn’t use but was all set up nice. Was in a great location, friendly & clean. Would stay at again.
We had reservations for 4 nights. When we arrived, the first thing we noticed was the area around the motel. There is a vacant strip mall next door. The only thing around is a Waffle House next door. We pull up and go into the lobby. As we were walking in we noticed that there is a seperate entrance for night/after hours registration. It's a desk behind glass! That's a bad sign. We get checked in, and go around to find our room. We had reserved two rooms, adjoining. When we walked into the rooms, we opened the adjoining room doors, and there was a roach. There was also what appeared to be droppings on the laminate floor. There were cobwebs in the window sills. The one room did smell like it had been recently cleaned. The other room smelled stale, as if maybe it had been awhile since that room had been occupied. We went back to the front desk and demanded a refund, which they obliged. My overall opinion after seeing this is that you get what you pay for. It's worth the extra $40 or so per night to stay at a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn, etc. We were able to find a vacancy for the four nights at the Holiday Inn in Kennesaw. Much better area and very nice hotel!
This motel is a great bargain for a family with a dog. The managers are friendly and helpful, even when checking in at 2:00 AM. The rooms are always clean and nice. The prices have always been extremely reasonable. The beds are comfortable. And there is plenty of room to walk your pet in front of the motel.
My family was traveling thru Atlanta on my way for vacation and we once again stopped here for the night and it was a great experience as it was last time, I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends
