This large spacious house is located on the very popular Albatros Playa 3 complex close to the beaches of the Mar Menor in Mar de Cristal. The complex has a beautiful grassed pool area and there is access from the patio area of the property.



The house is furnished to a good standard and offers super accommodation for your beach holiday. It has 3 good size bedrooms, the main bedroom with bathroom on suite is on first floor and the other 2 bedrooms and a shower room are on ground floor. It has a well-equipped kitchen with all modern appliances including dishwasher and utility area. There is a large BBQ area at the back of the property from the lounge offering plenty of space to eat and sunbathe as well as a solarium upstairs from the main bedroom



Mar de Cristal is a typical Spanish resort with great sandy beaches located on the Mar Menor, it has a small supermarket, tennis and padel centre, sailing school and a selection of bars and restaurants. A short drive will take you to the national park and beaches of Calblanque, visit the town of Cartagena or the fishing village of Cabo de Palos.

A lovely apartment

We arrived after a long drive from Madrid. The welcome package contained a bottle of water, crisps, wine and beer and some cleaning products to get you started. A bottle of milk in the fridge and some tea bags for the first night would have served us better. There were only two of us in a 6 person apartment but had there been 6, it would be tight on storage due to locked wardrobes but we understand that the owners need to keep their stuff separate. These are just minor points. The solarium upstairs is a good size with plenty of seating.as is the downstairs lounge and dining area although we tended to eat outside and use the solarium. WiFi is good downstairs but hit and miss upstairs. There’s a washing machine so you can wash the towels and bedding as it is not changed during your stay (we were there for 3 weeks). Albatros 3 community was quiet which is what we like. The pool is clean and not too cold but can get busy on a weekend when owners come to their properties. We’ll certainly be considering returning again.
