Inicio en el lago! Esta casa recién remodelada (pisos de madera dura en todo) se encuentra en Lake Huron, muy limpia casa de 3 habitaciones 1,300 pies cuadrados. Sólo 1. 5 horas conduciendo desde Metro Detroit. Tenemos más de 100 pies de playa de arena con acceso privado al lago Hurón. Alquiler semanal, quincenal y mensual disponible. Alquiler semanal incluye el uso de nuestra casa de 3 dormitorios. La casa está amueblada con camas de madera y colchones nuevos. Tiene capacidad para 12 personas. Por favor llame para disponibilidad. La casa está ubicada a 16 millas al norte de Lexington, Michigan en Lake Huron, que ofrece vistas de la salida del sol. Excellent! The view was amazing!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The view is spectacular and it was very easy to get to the beach even my 79 year old dad could do it. Great host and great place to stay! I highly recommend!

Beautiful Lake Huron!

We wanted a place on the lake and this was the place. The beach was great for us and our pup. Found a great local bar & grill and had a wonderful dinner. Thanks a bunch George!

AMAZING !!!

First off, the house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking !! Beds were comfy and there was even extra bedding if needed. The beach is wonderful - plenty of sand but also rocks for treasure hunting. They had chaise loungers for laying about, and even some floaties for the lake. The host was SUPER accommodating and friendly and if I could give him 12 stars I would !!!!! Thank you !!! Great house on the lake - the waves soothes you to sleep..... love this house and the host !!!!

Perfect Cottage get away

Private Cottage with a great view and relaxing atmosphere. Small town feel yet close to good restaurants and cool bars. We had a great relaxing stay and loved hearing the waves from the lake. Perfect for couples or whole families looking for something intimate and relaxing.

Carsonville cottage

The view was spectacular, location was great with a restaurant in walking distance. Wi-Fi was poor, the stairs going to beach need to be repaired and railings put in, otherwise we loved it.

Great beach family vacation

I arrived with my husband, son, and little poochies. My daughter and her family joined us after a few days. We were all nicely surprised that the cottage was roomier than expected. House was very clean, kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the living and dining areas were roomy and comfortable. I also appreciated having a washer & dryer. We loved the amazing views from the cottage, deck and yard! Beach was very private and great for relaxing or taking long walks. Grandkids loved swimming and playing in the sand. We all enjoyed evening barbeque dinners and then bonfires at night. George was super nice and responsive when I contacted him with any questions. It was a wonderful, relaxing week with my family. We would definitely like to stay again!

Family vacation

All in all this cottage met our family needs. There was plenty of comfortable beds . The kitchen was nice size to be able to cook for everyone. I was happy that they had a washer and dryer, however it was awkward to transfer the clothes from the washer into the dryer due to the fact the doors are in the way. It’s a quick fix by switching the dryer and washer. The only downside that may determine if we rent again is the deck. My older guests chose not to attempt to use the deck to get to the water.It needs hand rails at the lower deck to get to the water. Also the it was very difficult to get cell service. It was pretty spotty for that area.

Our stay

We had a great week at the cottage! Weather was perfect and loved being on the water. Spent a lot of time at the beach. Cottage had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. Came home with clean clothes ❤️. It was easy to communicate with George too. Windows open and having the breeze along with the sound of the ocean was what we were looking for!

Quiet Beachfront House

My husband, 5 year old, pups and I recently stayed at this property and enjoyed every minute of our vacation. Clean home, plenty of room to sleep and hang out. The best part was the the view and access to the beach right out the back door. Our stay was quite with no neighbors on one side of the property. We had the beach to ourselves the whole visit. Bring water shoes as its rocky close to shore but soon smooths out. Check in was easy, host was responsive. If you are looking for a quaint place to staythis is the spot.

Perfect cottage for couple get-away with our pups!

We had such a relaxing time staying at this cottage! The view of the water from the back deck was beautiful, everything was very clean, and the bed was super comfy. The host made sure we had everything we needed! We would definitely stay here again!

Nice lakeside property

Quiet location on the lakefront with easily accessible private beach. Beautiful views. Kitchen well equipped with cooking utensils and cookware. Has both a gas grill and charcoal grill available. Nice deck. Quaint towns within a short drive.

Lakeside dreamy

This was a great place to stay! Right on the water and could have just sat on the beach listening to the waves all day. We wanted an outdoor adventure with lots of beach walking, rock hunting, and beach glass finding. We found just that and so many other parks nearby that you can go to as well.

Concerns about exposed nails on the deck as it wouldn't be kid friendly I expect the owner is making improvements that will make it better. For me, it was a beach cottage experience. I embraced the quirks.

Our Take on It

The appeal of this shorefront cottage is the location right on Lake Huron with long beach frontage. The kitchen and bathroom have been remodeled but other updates are needed. The host is very responsive. We appreciated him allowing our dogs to accompany us on our first visit to this part of Lake Huron. The area is beautiful. Overall, the cottage is "not fancy" as other reviewers have noted. There are issues with deferred maintenance that affect the deck, the front door and and access to the beach. George said those issues will be addressed and when they are the cottage will truly be a gem on the water. The noise from the road is real but the view and access to the shoreline make up for it.

House could use some love

Location is wonderful and the beach is very nice! However, house could use some serious love. The paint is peeling off the deck, one of the gates on the deck broke when we barely touched it, the steps are super sketchy… There’s some places in the home that feel like they were half-flipped and then forgotten about. Also you get blinded by headlights when on the deck at night.
