My wife and I stayed here while visiting family in Carrabelle, the Villa we stayed in as well the grounds in general were clean and very well kept up. The most memorable thing of the trip would be the staff, the restaurant manager and the server during the days we were there made us feel like we have known them for years.

Great stay not so great gold

The stay was great, we stayed in one of the condos and not many complaints there. There were a few small things if you wanted to nit pick but I don’t expect perfection. Only real complaint would be of the golfing experience. For $100 per person I would have expected a little better. Greens were great but tee boxes and most of the fairway was little more than dirt. We were also one of the few people on the course but still found ourselves being held up by workers who seemed to not care that they were holding us up with no one behind us.

The area around the resort is beautiful. it was Sunday, was supposed to have breakfast in the restaurant per its menu in the room, but it was not available. The room was not clean, but the sheets and towels were good.

This place has great potential, it's a shame it's going to waste. The Good: The pool and golf course. Room was Ccean and very spacious, with mini fridge and microwave.walk in closet in the bathroom and a large shower were much appreciated. The course was decent although some of the holes are quite short. It's good enough to play a round. The Bad: The service is absolutely terrible. When we didn't receive the email the resort referenced so I called at 1:30 and was told they're sent at 3. (Yes, this is important to have as there are detailed instructions. More to come on that) We arrived at 4, check in time, and had to go to the golf shop to complete. The woman who "helped" us clearly was being bothered by our arrival despite the fact the place was dead. She only directed us to our cabin. We received the email at 11:30 pm, more than 7 hours after we checked in. It is important as it provided hours, contact info for the restaurant, maintenance, maps, other amenities and the card code it access them, etc. Long story a bit shorter - the food is terrible but due to the remote location you have very limited options. The wait staff is slower than molasses, everyone seems to have a "what do you want?' attitude If you're planning a trip here I would recommend purchasing all of your groceries and other necessities and bringing them with you. I cannot stress enough how absolutely awful the service and food is here. Calling this a golf resort is major stretch.

There was no television remote in the villa, we called the number provided and no one called us back. The knob to the dryer didn’t work so we washed our clothes with no way to dry.

This is an extremely nice property. The food at Crooked River Grill is absolutely delicious with no skimping on quality ingredients. We didn’t play golf but the course looks very nice. There are some renovations being done to the main pool bathrooms, The fitness facility is a separate cottage and is well appointed. Our condo was spacious and had great views of the pond and golf course. Beds were comfortable and we loved the space. It was certainly functional but there is only minimal interior design. A lot more thought should be given to that and that would take this property to a whole new level. It is extremely nice and functional as is, but some minor details are overlooked that should not be. I highly recommend renting this property!

The resort was very pretty. Grounds are well kept. Facilities are in nice condition. Pretty cool that you have your own washer/dryer in the villas. If you want a beach, there isn't too much close by. Carrabelle beach is about 20 minutes away, nice, but small, and no shops or restaurants near. St. George Island is about 30 minutes. Worth the drive. Good beach, lots of shops, lighthouse & museum, etc.

Arrived after 7pm... No one there for Check in; asked for help at the restaurant, and Jayda was awesome ! ... Helped us get the info we needed to get into our Villa.

I rented a 3 bedroom apron arriving they gave me a 2 bedroom so they gave me another 2 bedroom for free. The property looked amazing the staff was very nice but the rooms had there issues. One unit fridge leaked water front toilet wouldn’t fill with water. Toaster was broke did not know till I used it living room fan switch worked but the switch for the light was broke and the light stayed on the whole time. The other unit had bugs and the patio lanterns were not installed and the wiring not capped off and touched and sparked. I own a construction company and checked the breaker and it was on I had to turn it off.

Wonderful birthday celebration

We came to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful time golfing and fishing. Our condo was spacious and homey. The kitchen was well stocked and our beds were comfortable. This isn’t our first time here and won’t be our last.
