It was a beautiful property but bed bugs appeared when the lights went out. I’m still freaked out over that.

Amazing Location

This place met all expectations. Right on the beach with good parking. Close to restaurants and downtown. Couldn’t have asked for a better place for a quick trip.

Salty Hammocks B-1

We enjoyed our stay at the Salty Hammocks. The condo was comfotable and we were supplied with everything we needed. There was a starter bag with toilet paper and paper towels which we left for the next guest as we didn't need them. The coded entry lock was broken but was replaced within the hour of our arrival. I was put off by the response I received from the 24/7 maintenance personnel. The keurig coffee maker made 2 cups of coffee and then wouldn't because it needed to be descaled. The person I talked to told me "it was a good thing there were lots of coffee shops". I called the number again at 9:00 and had a new coffee maker within the hour. The bathtub needed some scrubbing as it has a noticeable ring. I had to sweep the outside deck so not to track in the sand. This should have been done by the property management along with cleaning the stair well of debris. If noise bothers you, this condo may not work for you. The bedroom faces the main road and on a Fri and Sat night it was quite loud. Overall, I recommend this property.

Unit was small; felt too small for family of four with two teen kids. AC went out midday even though we followed instructions in unit to keep doors closed, blinds closed and temp at 70.

Perfect for pets and grandchildren

I was able to rise early and jog on the beach with my dog, reaching Flagler beach or Fisher Point with an easy run before the family woke up. The state park offers plenty of hiking & biking opportunities to. The apartment had everything we needed and was decorated very nice. We really enjoyed the porches and the immediate access to the beach. The pool is clean with beautiful night lites. Definitely a nice time.

Great time

Great location to boardwalk and beach, ocean front but just far enough away from the noise and business of the boardwalk. Once in the space we had everything we needed to relax for our vacation.

Expectations not met

Overall cleanliness was more than substandard by any measure & no adequate tools available in unite to clean once we arrived. Leasing agent offered to send cleaning service over but we didn’t feel comfortable with that once we were moved in. Fabric on furniture was filthy as well so only sat on hard surface furniture. Spent several hours last day waiting on HVAC service to fix AC. No offer of any financial compensation from leasing agency. Would no recommend to anyone.

Great vacation

Our vacation at Salty Hammock and Carolina beach was incredible! We didn't really know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised as the condo was perfect for two people. There's easy access to the beach and we had a blast throwing the ball to our Golden in the early morning and late afternoon when dogs are allowed on the beach. Definitely one of the best vacations we've ever had.

Great place!

We only had a few days in Carolina and this turned out to be the perfect last minute rental. Wonderful location, convenient to everything. It is very clean and has lots of outside deck space. Parking is conveniently underneath. It’s not oceanfront, but the pool and the ocean are literally steps away just around the corner.

Gross -unclean!

I feel for the owner because the rental company and the cleaning company are not doing there job! The rental Company is rude and doesn't not care of your stay is a good one. When we we to put the linens on- we were appalled to see a huge pee stain on the comforter... the sheets has stains on them and the pillow cases had crayon all over them. So basically they take your linen and throw the blanket back on the bed for the next renters. After I called to complain how gross that was - they dismissed it. Clearly doesn't care about COVID! We washed the comforter went from cream with a huge pee stain to a nice white color. Be aware. They aren't washing anything that doesn't belong to them.... and anything that does is stained. I cant post pics but contact me if you need to confirm. Also they let you know they have roaches on fridge and its common in that area- never have i ever had anyone tell you when you get there- with a note- door doesn't lock either. Felt very unsafe. Thats the short story!

A great place to Relax and Enjoy the Beach

The property was perfect for my family of four. We enjoyed the closeness to the beach, the pool and local recreations. The management company was excellent as well. I highly recommend this place
