With a private walkway directly to the beach, beautiful ocean views, and a convenient location near the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, you’ll have everything you need for the perfect coastal vacation.

GREAT LOCATION
Leave the car parked and enjoy exploring Carolina Beach! Mermaid’s Retreat is approximately a 5–10 minute walk to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk and about a 15–20 minute walk to the Carolina Beach Pier, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and local favorites nearby.
PET FRIENDLY
We’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs with prior approval. Please message us before booking if you plan to bring a pet.

• Dogs must be under 50 lbs.
• $125 non-refundable pet fee for 1 dog
• $200 non-refundable pet fee for 2 dogs
