Spring Trip

We had a great time in Carolina Beach coming from the northeast to thaw out a bit. The house was exactly what we needed. The pool was a hit and the ease of access to the beach and fun local attractions were perfect. Couldn’t have wanted more.

Beautiful duplex with private pool

Perfect for large family or friends. Beautifully furnished with lots of space and comfortable bedding. Short walk to the beach and close to area dining and entertainment. Only issue would be there are quite a few stairs so probably not suitable for someone with compromised health or stamina.

Overall we had a great stay, house was exactly what we expected and about a 5 minute walk to the beach. A lot of space in the house, clean, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of bath towels provided, as well as pool towels, parking for all 3 of our large vehicles, some beach stuff provided, great outdoor shower. We did run into a couple problems, we noticed ants in the kitchen the first night, I contacted the management company the next morning and they sent someone out to spray, but we did see ants the entire time. The a/c also went out the day before we had to leave, the owner came out and fixed it and put portable a/c units in the bedrooms, so luckily we didn’t suffer too long. The wifi is terrible, almost non functioning and the mattresses are extremely uncomfortable, some new mattresses would be great. Overall, the owner was great and attentive, so we would stay again.

Relax and Recharge

Our stay was very nice. The house was beautiful and clean. It was close to the ocean and had beautiful views. The pool was an extra bonus. The neighborhood was quiet. It was also close to all of things we wanted to do in Carolina Beach. The only downfall was the beds were very uncomfortable but we made the best of it because the house was perfect otherwise for our family.

This place was such a great stay! I had a vball tournament and my team and myself stayed there. Very relaxing. Great area, short walk to the beach and there are a few walking restaurants along with several within a 5 min drive. A few things to make your trip even better- Bring extra blankets. Each of the beds was made but there are not any throws if you want to go read a book on the couch, etc.. The pool is shared with whom ever rents the other side. During our stay there was a lot of young kids so we did not go in it. I dont believe it is heated so prepare for a chill if you do not go in during the day. These are not complaints, the place was great and would stay again!
