This morbid place isn't just the filthiest vacation rentals I've ever come accross, but also by far is the dirtiest house I've ever seen. You get hit with the wall of nauseating smells the second you open the door: smoke, cat piss and everything else the filthiest 60 year old carpet has accumulated. The furniture is so old and dirty, i couldn't make myself to touch anything, or even st down. Slept curled up in my own blanket. I took a picture of the kitchen utensils drawer. Imagine what the rest of this God awful place is like, if the kitchen is this nasty. Truly shocking experience. I have filed a dispute against shameless people that run this horror of a vacation rental.

Dear Tatyana:Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are sorry that you were disappointed with the accommodations. It seems when you called to ask for early check in without the fee, which we were not able to grant, your vacation started off on the wrong foot. Unfortunately then you arrived (without advising) in an RV that could not be accommodated onsite due to county regulations, the situation escalated. The Moose Cabin at Carnelian Bay is a property that regularly has great reviews so we were very concerned with your feedback about the lack of cleanliness. Especially since the property had been inspected prior to your arrival. When you advised the next morning that you were checking out early because the home was dirty and not up to your expectations, we immediately sent our quality control team to the property. Unfortunately by the time they arrived, you were gone. QC reported that the home appeared to be in good condition and could not verify your claims. We wish you had given us the opportunity to address your concerns while you were still in house. We recommend that prior to booking any future stays you verify your arrival time and find out about RV parking.
