Nice property, beautiful views, outstanding location

Our family enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home. Great, open layout in the home and a wonderful property perched perfectly overlooking Pacific Ocean and Carmel coastline. Kitchen needed a can-opener and we were glad to leave one behind!Thanks for an enjoyable week!

The property and home was beautiful. However, it was very disappointing and such a shame that this home had many nonfunctioning and malfunctioning aspects. Heat sporadic in rooms and floors. Many toilet handles malfunctioning. Small leak in meditation room. TV's not connected properly for operation. Many door locks not able to open. Malfunctioning shades. No remote garage door opener to be found. Fish feeder appeared to be broken.(we fed the fish numerous times) NO INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR ANYTHING, OR DIRECTION ON WHERE TO LOCATE ANYTHING. Our excitement quickly diminished throughout our stay and it was disappointing to say the least. we truly hope attention will be focused on maintenance and care to this property for the future.

Beautiful but at Cost

The property is very beautiful and well designed and the view was stunning. Small learning curb when controlling lights and other hidden home functions. However; this place has no AC. If you do request ac, a portable unit will be placed in only one room. Two other rooms will receive regular fans. With such a massive place, it is no where near adequate for the house. YOU WILL OVERHEAT HERE. The heat becomes unbearable even with windows and doors opened. The portable ac also means that one window will be left open for its use. The opened window leads to a significant amount of insects coming into the house, particularly spiders. The webs were in nearly every corner and you will have to kill a few. Management will not do anything extra for the searing heat. If they had addressed the heat this place would’ve been absolutely perfect. We ended up losing nearly 12 hours due to the issue.
