I prefer to make a reservation by direct contact with the hotel, using the published phone number. Avoids errors that can happen when using a third party booking. Making a reservation at the Ramada was a pleasant experience. We got a ground floor room with an exterior door to the parking lot. Check in was fine. I can't remember now for sure, but my notes say "cookies" so I assume that there were free cookies available. Nice when you come in off the road to go to your room and have cookies and coffee. Flat screen TVs are common now, but it is hard to find one the fills the screen properly. You can often see the TVs in the lobby or breakfast room that has a stretched picture with insufficient height. TV in the room was an LG with an LG remote. I found a Ratio button on the remote and was able to get a better shaped picture than in most hotels. One thing I miss when on a trip is soft water. I don't feel clean until I get home a have a bath in good water. This hotel uses the local water supply as is, and it was SOFT. What a wonderful surprise. There was time when it seemed to be standard to make up the bed with a sheet and blanket that only reached up to your armpits. How are you to keep your shoulders warm? Now the industry seems to have switched to using a duvet. I find them much to warm to sleep under. I would have to lower the room temperature to fifteen degrees to survive. I asked and was able to get some extra sheets, so we removed the duvet/comforter and just used sheets and we were comfy. The room was well equipped (I checked and was told all rooms were the same). We had four chairs, although two were of the "tall" type I cannot use. There was a computer in the room, as well as a fridge, large microwave, 4 cup coffee maker, a two burner hot plate, dishes and cutlery for two, as well as pots and pans, and of course the kitchen sink. Nice. Bathroom had a surround tub installation with the clear embedded handle. I am always afraid to pull myself up with those - they feel like they might break. There was a noisy fan that I hate. The sink had separate handles for hot and cold which I really like, but the fixture was loose. I reported that and hope they fix it. Breakfast was generally good, although I saw no microwave. Hot items included several different type of omelettes, sausages, potatoes and boiled eggs. Big disappointment was no orange juice! I love orange juice for breakfast. There were four dispensers - apple juice, iced tea, and two kinds of "fruit punch". My wife and I selected the one that listed orange juice as an ingredient, but it looked unappetizing and tasted awful. We did not finish it. There was a full time attendant there, but mostly he seemed to be just standing in the doorway looking out. My wife felt uncomfortable with him looking at her all the time. And the clerk from the front desk came to check on things and collect and take out the garbage. My wife thought that should be his job. All in all, a nice stay.

Great hotel and always clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Always enjoy staying here when in the area.

A charming and well appointed hotel with very friendly service. When I arrived for check in late and night starving after a long day on the road, the cheery front desk staffer Christina went the extra mile and dug out a bagel and some snacks from the back that may have saved my life. Nice clean rooms, free wifi, and life-saving service. Can't ask for more.

Chose this town as I wanted to be East of Weyburn SK. This was one of the best places I stayed in. As the internet was fast but (5*) each room has a fully functional PC which allowed for the downloading all the digital images to a 128gb stick. Also each room has a full kitchen. Front desk staff were great and there are a few restaurants within walking distance so that is a plus.

Very clean and well maintained hotel. Great location to ammenities. Our crew enjoyed our stay> Front desk lady Sandra went above and beyond to make us feel like we were at home with her cheerful nature always greetin us with a smile equiring about our day and our stay. Would recommend hotel to anyone.

Upon arrival we were upgraded to a wonderful suite, how do you not write a great review after that? Large two room (king in bedroom, queen in sitting room with separation wall). Kitchen table and sofa,Two TVs, separate bathtub and large shower in bath. Kitchen with large fridge, cutlery- wonderful. Very quiet, breakfast room is somewhat small but seems to accommodate guests without issue, the standard waffles and yogurt, a unique meeting room just off the eating area that can be used for meetings or overflow for breakfast. Staff were very friendly. Carlyle is a small but pretty community, walking distance to everything is possible, there is a convenience store, Dairy Queen, Subway, and Liquor Store all within 1 block walk. Though there is limited chance we will be in the Carlyle area again, if we were I would definitely be back to stay at the Ramada, great experience.

We went see our children and grandchildren to go racing in Gimili MB. Then return to Carlyle to have fun. We did all of that.accomidations were great

Excellent customer service, we came with a softball team and had arrived about 1:00. Despite our being early the front desk clerk went out of her way to check us all in early and provided us with some excellent recommendations for lunch. Our tournament went succesfully and subsequently we then requestes a late checkout time. This was also accomodated. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, staff all very friendly and helpful. If I am again in this area I will stay here.

The Ramada room and hotel exceeded our expectations. We stayed for two comfortable nights, were greeted by friendly staff, and were actually able to work out in the fitness room together (all 4 of us). The breakfast hosted a variety of items and the staff were attentive and friendly all weekend. We would definitely stay again.

It was great house keeping Charlene was great, always had a smile on her face and she was very polite. She was very efficient and quick to get my room clean . The front desk was very helpful, beds were comfy, breakfast was great.
