Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. Set in a quiet, rural location, this barn conversion, adjacent to the owner’s home and set on a working beef farm, provides spacious holiday accommodation. It is full of character and charm, with original beams and exposed stonework throughout. Well-equipped, it is always warm and cosy, and has been tastefully furnished in a homely, cottage style, and also boasts a garden that looks out over lovely views. The property is set at the end of a private lane, yet Carlisle and Hadrian’s Wall are only a short drive away. There are excellent links for those wishing to explore the Lake District, Newcastle and the Scottish Borders. The market town of Brampton is 5 miles away. Shop 5 miles, pub 1½ miles, restaurant 2½ miles.

A short drive from the nearest shop, the cottage is brilliantly situated amongst fields with views for miles of rolling countryside. Stars are so clear here. Bats and birds as well as the neighbourhood cows Perfect place to explore Hadrians wall and close to both Gretna and Carlisle. The stables are beautifully renovated with en suites for all rooms. Upstairs living room has 2 areas, so tranquil and comfy. Love the farmhouse style kitchen which is well equipped. Friendly and helpful host. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
