stayed two nights in November for a conference at the millennium center. This hotel is opposite the center and right next to a large selection of restaurants and bars in the bay area. The room was clean and had all the facilities you could want, tea & coffee facilities, and iron, hangers in the wardrobe, a tv and of course free wifi. The staff were friendly and helpful.

One of the smallest Hotels I've stayed at but by far one of the best. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and VERY welcoming. I stayed in a downstairs room which although was small, had everything I needed. Double bed, tv, hairdryer, kettle, (good selection of tea, coffee, biscuits and sweets), small wardobe with coat hangers, mini ironing board and iron. The bathroom was quite large with bath tub and hand held shower overhead. The bed was very comfortable and warm and I had no problems drifting off to sleep. Jonathan the host was really friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome with a courtesy call before my stay. There is a small parking area at the back of the hotel (free of charge) which is on a first come, first serve basis. There is a kerb / pavement to cross to gain entry to this car park which wasn't an issue for my small car but maybe an issue if you have a low rise car with skirted bumpers. Great location in the bay, opposite the millenium centre and near to all the bars and restaurants. I will definitely stay here again

really warm and genuine welcome from jolyon and jonothan lovely room on ground floor great breakfast staff friendly would stay again great location opposite Wales millenium centre many bars and restaurants within easy reach short distance to city centre thank you all for a memorable stay Pat and Mike Cf 83

Location is fantastic for the theatre as it's directly opposite, so is the bus to Cardiff and it is excellent value for money. We had to phone in for directions as it's tucked away but we had a really warm welcome, very friendly hosts, Jolyon and Jonathan, who seem to love their job. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a big ground floor room with a massive four poster and a wet room plus a bath. I can understand that this may not be everyone's choice as some people want the bland ultra modern style of new hotels. This is a bit quirky and you need to be early or lucky to get a parking spot but we absolutely loved it. Everything worked as it should do and it was quiet. Breakfast was lovely and we left our car there for a few hours extra before we left. A great stay.

Booked a 1 night stay as we were going too see Tiger Bay at the Millennium Centre. We were pleasantly greeted by Johnathan who very kindly upgraded us to room 3 on the first floor. This room has a Moroccan influence, it was spotlessly clean with a good bathroom. I would have preferred to have a shower or a curtain to shower, but this is not a criticism only due to the fact that I have a dodgy ankle and struggled a bit on getting out (possibly my age too!!) The shower attachment was amazing though very efficient and the water was great. Towels and bedding lovely and white and cosy. Good amenities in the bedroom too, tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits, bottled water and sweets! We had a very comfortable nights sleep followed by a lovely cooked breakfast and the best cup of coffee I have had for a long time. Many thanks to the lady chef for a beautifully presented breakfast and to the lovely gentleman who served and and was very friendly indeed. We booked via booking. Com but would book again direct with Jolyons as breakfast is included in the price. We paid extra for it. We also pre paid parking at the multi storey car park at £10 for 24 hrs which is good value but next time we will ring Johnathan and see if there is any room behind the hotel as it's free. Millennium centre is a stones throw from the hotel, very handy if you don't want to be too far. There are quite a few pubs and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and also a sainsbury and a chemist's etc. All in all a lovely stay and if the price is right would stay again sooner rather than later, maybe in the room with the outside terrace!! Thank you to all the staff who cook, clean etc. Kind regards.

Its hard to write somethng new as i have already written one when i stopped before. This is a little gem of a hotel. I am sure it wont be the last stay. Perfect for the Wales Millennium centre and again the welcome was warm and the experience fantastic. This time I had the breakfast and was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel. They offer good deals for direct bookings which might be helpful advice for others.

This little hotel is in the best possible place for enjoying all aspects of Cardiff Bay. Delightful reception on arrival by Jonathan who made sure we could park in the car park behind the hotel. We had room 5 which overlooked the wonderful Millenium Centre and Pier Offices. Very clean and large bathroom which unfortunately didn't have a proper shower, just a hand held one over the bath (hence 4 stars not 5) although I do understand from previous comments there are plans for an upgrade. I would suggest taking out the bath and putting in a large walk in shower. Breakfast was great served by lovely stafff (sorry didn't get your name!). All in all a lovely stay.

Fabulous location and easy parking. Room was very comfortable for our 2 night stay. Service was impeccable from the lovely Jonathan and his poached eggs at breakfast were scrumptious. Can't wait to have a reason to go back to Cardiff!

Just got back from 3 nights at the Jolyon's Hotel, Fabulous location in the Bay, Warm welcome & Lovely rooms, Excellent service from Jonathan, nothing is too much trouble, Would Highly Recommend 5* Nikki & John

Great hotel, located right next to Cardiff Bay and the train into the city centre, as well as the bus to the airport. Jonathan was a lovely host and the breakfast was amazing. Bed was extremely comfortable. Would definitely be back.
